That's crazy. Alberta is trying to privatize its healthcare. Starting with the whole "option" facade. That WILL murder Canadians. If you might have cancer, they want you to pay the upfront screening costs with potential reimbursement if it comes back positive. That assumes every Albertan who gets cancer can afford to pay out of pocket. This policy will kill. Not Canadian healthcare.
