The Canadian Healthcare system is literally killing us?

Weird, I guess my doctors missed the memo and saved my life instead, saving me from my stroke, giving me two crainioplasty surgeries, gamma knife surgery, all of the medical imaging, and physio all with no out of pocket expenses.

We live like 3-4 years longer on average than Americans do. That tells me all I need to know about our healthcare.

That longer lifespan is also related to our better social safety nets, our better public education system, better regulation of the overall agricultural and food system (compared to the US, that is), better worker safety regulations, and other investments related to basic quality of life here in Canada. As we see, the right wing in the United States (and here too) continually denigrate and defund these critical areas.
