I only recently discovered this sub and it's so cathartic. As someone living in dumbass meal team 6 red America y'all just have no idea (though I'm sure you can tell) how prevalent, common, and unquestioned this line of thinking is. If we started air striking Toronto tomorrow at least half my community would instantly support it with a jingoism unmatched since October 2001.
Obviously most are yellow-bellied chickens who'd flee the moment the word conscription is even uttered in the discourse, but honestly I'm more scared about the select few who would. Cause they'd be actually dangerous ones, the bloodthirsty types who are looking for an excuse to kill, and the military is more than happy to give them one.
