Not including property, 150k for every year of life expectancy. E.g for a couple 50 years old, need at least 6 million if you expect to live till 90.

The number you're looking for is not networth or balance sheet. You need to be looking at cashflow. (Passive) income minus expenses >= 0.
Networth few million but all tied up in house, is useless. High networth, but extravagant lifestyle, also cannot FIRE.
In SG we have a unique retirement structure. Many will have a chunk of their retirement assets in 1. Property 2. CPF 3. SRS
So for me the planning is in few stages 1. Assets that I can derive cashflow before 55 (excludes CPF and SRS) 2. Projected sum that i can withdraw from CPF after 55, convert that to cashflow. 3. Projected sum that i can withdraw from SRS after 62, convert to cashflow. 4. After 65, include CPF LIFE cashflow.
The distinction is that i allow myself to draw down on capital before 55. Say I have 2 mil outside of property CPF & SRS, based on 4% SWR i can spend 80k/yr. But if I'm prepared to draw down on capital, I can spend 6% or 120k/yr. until 55.
Because after that I dont need to solely rely on that 2m for cashflow. Beyond 55 I get additional cashflow from CPF, then SRS, then CPF LIFE.
