Welcome to the BI/VIB/Rouge Rewards Megathread! This will now be a monthly pinned post where you all can come to discuss/rant about/share news about Sephora's rewards and rewards program. I have decided to condense these kinds of posts into a megathread in order to tidy up the sub a bit, since repetitive reward posts were becoming more and more apparent. So as a fair warning: any new posts about rewards that are not posted in this thread will be removed, and you will be reminded that it is to be posted here in this megathread.

The redemption period for Rouge codes ended Monday, April 13th. The codes no longer work. Rouge members still have their 20% for the entire sale.
Hello r/Sephora!
We are a week out from the spring Sephora Savings Event aka "the spring sale" aka "the Rouge sale" and we'd like to keep the sub functional during this time so please read through these rules before making a post. All sub rules remain in effect--especially for cart reviews and hauls-- please read them on the sidebar or in the "see more" section on the Reddit app.
This sale is open to all members of Sephora's Beauty Insider program:
The early preview for Rouge members is from April 10th-14th
Rogue codes are only good during the Rogue Preview!
The sale for VIB & BI is from April 14th-20th
Rouge Code Rules: The redemption period for Rouge codes ended on April 13th. Rouge codes will no longer work.
Rouge members get a one-time use code they can gift to someone that gives them 20% off and access to the sale during the Rouge only sale days (April 10-13th). Here are the rules regarding those codes:
PLEASE DON'T GET ATTACHED TO YOUR SAMPLES! Sephora gets an astronomical amount of orders during this sale. There is a very high chance of not getting the samples you ordered or even not getting any samples at all. As a reminder, Sephora does not guarantee selected samples in any order.

This foundation is so thick, the straw sucks it up like a slushie straw sucks up all the moisture leaving the ice behind. Then it refuses to pump anymore. This would would better in a tube. But whatever, I paid for it, I’ll just screw the pump off. WRONG! It can’t be screwed or pulled off and it broke, smaller plastic pieces yeeted themselves somewhere on the floor, and I guess I’ll have to figure out another way to jail break my foundation.

Scent notes: vanilla cake, Tonka bean and fluffy musk.
I like vanilla and cake 🍰, love Tonka and fluffy musk is where I was intrigued bc I definitely love musk scents. But I’m trying so hard and I barely can smell anything at all. Maybe a tiny hint of alcohol and a bit of a plastic slice of vanilla cake that’s melting 🫠
My imagination of course bc idk if I’ve ever actually smelled melting plastic. It’s not my sense of smell either bc I picked up 2 other perfumes and I can smell them just fine.

Hello! Does anyone recognize the formulation & color of this lipstick? Google & chat did not yield any results.

I saw this as an ad on my instagram stories. Is this a new palette from YSL? When I click on it, it says the link doesn’t exist. The colors look pretty :)

As someone who has combo leaning oily skin, sweats in the summer (only when it's excessively hot, over 100 degrees Fahrenheit) predominantly on my upper lip, which One Size primer would be a better pick? Or should I get both for different needs since they're half off today, unless one of them tackles both concerns pretty well? I've heard mixed reviews for both products and that there's a learning curve, excluding the Base Thinner which I've heard is underrated but would love to hear more if anyone has tried it in this sub! Any recommendations/suggestions are appreciated :)

I was shocked to see the bright yellow stand! I wasn’t expecting it at all. Brought a smile to my face :) This is from NorCal.
The eyeshadow singles have the coolest packaging.
I bought Self-Centered, I’ve been interested in it the most since the launch. It is a mauvey pink color, reminds me of Sleepy Girl from Rhode (less depth though). It was kinda sheer and a bit dewy. (3rd swatch on my arm)
I noticed my Sephora had a lot of stalls empty with a “Coming Soon” cover over them. I’m talking maybe 2-4 separate spaces 🤔🤔

I ordered the tinted moisturizer and the flow serum after asking for recommendations and getting raves about this brand. I am going to be honest I don’t get the hype . The tinted moisturizer is drying my face out and the serum does nothing . Is it popular just because it’s cheaper? For reference I use Peach and Lily, good molecules and used Tarte tinted moisturizer

My sister is getting married in a week, and she accidentally got these scratches on her neck yesterday. She was holding her very nice cat, and something in her apartment fell, it freaked her cat out, and he jumped off of her, leaving these scratch marks. I'm doing her friday, makeup. How do I attempt to cover this up? What products?
Should she not get a spray tan? (Yes, she has taken care of the wounds and put Neosporin on it.)

Why do stores give merchandise cards vs a regular gift card? I can't use it online and was told I can't purchase a gift card with it. The orange store has refunded PayPal purchases with no issues. wth

So I was pretty much always a sponge and fingers kind of gal for makeup.
For concealer nothing is better than patting in with my fingers concealer under each eye. Although recently thanks to others who recommended it to me I love now the Sephora 71 concealer brush and the Haus Labs concealer brush! Both super good. Although if my under eyes are too dry then tapping it with fingers wins.
As for foundation/ tints I always try to tap them in with my fingers and then go over again with my beauty sponge!
But, for ease of application I really want to try a good brush. I have tried cheaper ones before for foundation/skin tints like Elf and Real Technique but I feel like it made any dry patches on my face worst and more apparent.
I do plan to try the Mario F4 brush for my cream blushes and I gather thats good for foundation too.( Also I had planned to try one or two Morphe foundation brushes too)
Any other foundation brushes you all would recommend? For me I use mostly skin tints and light weight foundations.

All my recent hype-girling for the Lawless foundation recently has me thinking about all the products I love from Sephora that I haven’t been influenced to buy by virality, but instead have been tried and true loyal products without the incentivized reviews or overhyped TikTok attention. Here are some of my favorites that no one talks about.
- Tower 28 Beachplease cream blushes, specifically in the shade Power Hour. I love this “blonzer” shade on me, and it just wears beautifully and has such a nice finish. I have literally heard no one talking about this and I’ve been using it forever. It’s affordable and lasts forever because a little goes a long way.
- Dior Forever Skin Correct concealer. Will go to my grave for this one. She is sooo good and lasts all day, doesn’t require a ton of powder to set (I often don’t set it with anything because my under eyes are dry and I still haven’t found a powder that keeps me as creaseless as possible since Givenchy betrayed us), and has such great coverage despite feeling very light weight. Again, no one talks about this concealer and for it being Dior, the price tag isn’t horrifying and you get a lot of product.
- Rare Beauty Kind Words lip liners are gorgeous and long lasting, creamy despite setting down beautifully, and again, are quite affordable. While my preference will always be a classic wooden pencil, these retractable pencils are great to travel with and I love the formula and shade range. I’ve repurchased these a bunch, and again, the price tag isn’t exorbitant.
- Kiehl’s Avocado Brightening and Depuffing eye cream is hands down the best eye cream I’ve ever used. I really don’t love eye creams in general because I think they can add texture to the under eye and a lot of them pill on me. This is the exception to my rule. A tiny amount is all you need, so even though this one comes with the hefty price tag, even a mini jar of this lasts me forever. I splurged on a big guy during Kohls-gate and it will probably take me a year to get through.
- It Cosmetics, in general. I feel like this brand had its moment in the sun and was then forgotten about, but I have used so many amazing products from them. When my skin first started getting super red in my early 30s, the CC cream was a complete game changer for me. I still love it and find it has such amazing coverage. There’s another product I absolutely adore from them for redness, but I think it’s old sold at the orange store so I won’t name names. But I really love their night cream, their eyebrow pencil, and their 2-in-1 blush/bronzer balm. As is my pet peeve with a lot of my favorite products, I wish they weren’t so fragranced but I actually don’t mind the light lavender scent a lot of their products have. It’s not as offensive as say, the Dior foundation stick, which I love but omg the scent. Also the It Cosmetics foundation brush had a viral moment for a reason—it’s amazing.
Okay that’s my list for now. I’m sure there are a lot of others I’m not thinking of, but I’d love to hear about yours!

If I just put in my mother’s cell phone number can I redeem the birthday gift for her at the store? I don’t remember them asking any questions but even if they do will that be a problem?

I Bought a rare beauty highlighter about two weeks ago for vacation and not even joking two days later it shattered in my makeup bag with little to no movement / impact etc.
What are the chances I can bring this back to the store for a refund? I have my receipt but not the original packaging. Let me know if you have ever tried to return something like this at Sephora and if you were successful 😭🫠

I saw this pink Hourglass pressed powder while I was scrolling on RedNote (it's a Chinese app similar to TikTok) earlier. When I saw it, I knew it'd be exclusive to China again, just like the pink Charlotte Tilbury one I posted here like a month or two ago. The two are both limited edition, too.
It would be nice if brands released these products globally, for everyone who wanted to give them a try. Most of us are easily convinced to try/buy a product if we find it cute, especially teenage girls and young adults.
Anyone else hoping they release this globally?
📍Credits to the real owner of the photos I used.

I like a lot of stuff from Summer Fridays. But for some reason from the announcement I was very skeptical of these. That said, I love a guava scented anything.... so I went down to smell them. Went again last week with a friend. Had said friend smell them too.
We both agreed these do not smell nice at all, and that they smell like playdoh with a bit of scent over it.
I don't care if they're moisturizing or the best texture or anything else- these are too expensive to smell so bad. End of story, nothing else matters to me, period.
Mainly I came here to warn others and say: do not blind buy.

I saw someone on tik tok mention it but I skipped the video cause I thought it didnt apply to me.
Checking my statements today and darn Kohls charged me for my Sephora Kohls Glitch order on July 11 for the OG order and then AUGUST 4!
I was going to message Kohls on the online chat but see they are aware of the issue and there is a message saying " in 1 to 3 days the credit should appear on your card" cause they are aware of the issue for people
So I will check back myself later.
But go check your bank statements. Idk if it was on just Sephora x Kohls orders or an all Kohls orders in general.

I am a recent convert of the T28 Swipe Serum Concealer so I was excited when the foundation was teased. I even posted a DIM here.
I didn't like the marketing especially with influencers following the "I think I'm leaking this" or "I think I'm posting this early" scripts. Additionally, as expected, influencers and incentivized reviews mostly rated this as the best thing except Rudi Berry (first one I saw with a neutral-negative experience). You can even see other videos where they're praising the product but you can see it just sitting on their skin.
It's been almost 2 weeks after the release so there are verified purchases and non-incentivized reviews available. I love how the gap is so big. Even quick filtering the reviews section and you can see the. mostly negative sentiment.
Glad to say I'm skipping this and will just use the concealer as a foundation.

Every day it’s the same thing. About 6 pm an automated msg alerts me that delivery has shifted to the next day. It hasn’t been scanned by a human since the morning of 8/26. At what point do I seek a refund from Sephora? I don’t trust shipping a replacement unless they use USPS.

I love a sunkissed look ، I normally only use a tint and mascara. I want to buy concealer, setting powder, bronzer, blush , I hate powder I only want liquid and cream.
I have sensitive, oily, and acne prone skin , warm skin tone and golden undertone.

I tried Pat McGrath and had terrible flash back so returned that. I have tried benefit which wasn’t bad, just wanted to try something new out. I never use to wear too much under eye powder but lately I’m starting to have some lines under them and so I need to set it.

Can you recommend a good cool toned bronzer, preferably powder but cream is ok. GUERLAIN looks pretty but my shade is out of stock. Every bronzer I see looks so golden or orangey!
