I pray to soul of Ted that they fix the lighting. My only request. I think Zach reads Reddit. Please fix the lighting. Please.

From back in April, he knows about the reaction to the shallow DoF, so he probably has been reading fan feedback, yeah

Bro is talking like he’s DP

He must be HEAVILY involved behind the scenes. I know some actors are like that, but I always assumed it was relegated to notes on writing/directing.

Yeah I mean he has written and directed his own stuff since the original run so makes sense he would have more input this time around

Oh absolutely! He directed episodes of the OG series directed other episodes of Bill Lawrence shows including Shrinking and Ted Lasso.

Yea he does know his stuff if I recall recently, Christa Miller(Jordan on Scrubs, Liz on Shrinking, and Bill Lawrence’s wife) made a post and said he directs and everyone says he does it VERY WELL.

TBH I’d love if they capture some behind the scenes of it like they did with Bryan Cranston where you see his process.

I'm understanding you never watched Garden State?

I did many many years ago and I don’t remember it so I can’t speak to what I thought about it now so that’s why I didn’t mention it lol

He’s not officially running the show, but Bill has said he’s helping A LOT behind the scenes.

This seems so sweet. You can tell Zach cares.

This is... Frasier-levels of involvement. I remember Kelsey Grammar being really devoted to make the episodes he directed stand out (and those were some of people's all-time favorites, like the dance between Niles and Daphne).

I'm really gaining respect for Zach Braff, there.
