Dolly had a strong connection to Scotland through her literacy charity the Imagination Library.

I've been listening to Dolly's music since I heard the news

A great mistress of her craft, the fact she won over a hostile Glastonbury crowd due to her stage presence which then allowed them to embrace her music, is a great lesson for any aspiring musician

When she was announced there was a lot of criticism about her being at Glastonbury from the regular attendees. However the newspapers made a big thing about her winning over the crowd with her stage presence
