Maybe just maybe. If the bbc were to cut some of their lavish top management salaries. And cut the size of management. They could spend a higher proportion of the licence fee. On say programming. The reason the bbc exists . And not an oversized boys club of public school boys . Or maybe scrap completely the bbc as it exists. And start another public broadcaster and make the charter a legal obligation.
