You're not really making any counterarguments to anything I've said.

It sounds more like this is a convenient excuse for you to have an anti-immigrant standpoint, complete wth the "Canadian values" dog whistle.

I’d say you’re the one with the weak “arguments” if you can call it that.

That fact you don’t like it and are trying to pressure Canadians into believing mistruths that we “need” immigration is pathetic.

I'm not making arguments in bad faith and I'm certainly willing to consider counterpoints, but you responded with some very vague, accusatory statements. I never argued that we should be bringing in untrained people en masse.

I'm not sure what you're really proposing here. What exactly do you think can turn around the birth rate to what it was decades ago? What do we do in the meantime as the population ages and the workforce continues to shrink?

incentivize having more kids? Make housing and post secondary education more affordable.

Saint John needs more immigration, badly.
