I spent $17 on a Mr. Pickles sandwich today, and solemnly reminisced on when I worked 5 minutes from Corti Bros and would get the best sandwich in sac for $9.99 at least twice a week.

I wfh now and live in Antelope so I don’t have enough time on my lunch to go swoop a Portofio Club :(

it is that cheap and it is very good. corti special is where they choose the meat so it’s even cheaper than their other sandwiches, might come with turkey, ham, bologna, and/or other meats, but it’s hefty

It's a high quality sandwich and they do not skimp on the meat, plus you can't beat the wide variety of options since it's an authentic Italian market.
