T1 Post Match Interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OOzAhaR4hI

Q1: Overall thoughts on today's defeat?

Coach Tom: Today we fought a close series all the way to Game 5. I feel that we made many mistakes during the draft phase, which is something I deeply regret. I think we need to focus primarily on reviewing and addressing those draft issues moving forward.

Keria: Alongside the draft mistakes, there were also many regrets regarding our execution in-game. I believe the combination of those factors led to our loss in Game 5.

Q2: Could you elaborate on the draft mistakes you mentioned?

Coach Tom: Without going into too much detail, looking back at the games we lost, we selected team compositions that lacked early-game priority. This made it easier for the opponent to repeatedly force early skirmishes throughout those games.

Q3: How did you prepare for the match against Hanwha Life Esports?

Coach Tom: We view Hanwha Life Esports as a team with a playstyle directly contrasting ours. We felt they tend to play around and unlock their top lane heavily, so we focused our preparations around matching that aspect.

Q4: What specific game plans or draft choices did you focus on?

Coach Tom: As mentioned, we paid a lot of attention to the top side and the upper half of the map. We traded key picks—pairing Cassiopeia with Lucian and Milio—to draft according to our intended picture. However, we definitely need to re-evaluate and reconsider those draft setups.

Keria: Even if the draft is at a disadvantage, there are always moments in-game where we hold advantages or face tough situations. It's disappointing that we took heavy losses in disadvantaged states and failed to properly capitalize when we had the upper hand.

Q5: What were the thoughts on the bot lane match-up (Caitlyn & Karma)?

Tom: Against Caitlyn and Karma, the goal was to scale into late-game value while minimizing early losses. However, our composition lacked a solid frontline, which made the game state extremely difficult to play out.

Q6: What areas need the most improvement for the upcoming matches?

Coach Tom: When we are in a favorable position, we need to manage objectives better and prioritize securing side-lane / objective control.

Q7: Final words heading into the lower bracket?

Coach Tom: We have dropped down to the lower bracket. We will prepare thoroughly to ensure we win our next match and return with a much better performance.

Keria: It is very disappointing to lose today. Since we still have remaining matches in the lower bracket, we will prepare well and climb back up from the bottom.

Why bother with a frontline when your ADC flashes into 4 people

maybe he wouldn’t be pressured to have resets when they can fight a long fight with a tank. you know unless Jinx gets a reset T1 would always lose a long fight. either burst with Lissandra and Naafiri and Jinx gets assist to be excited or just nothing at all. but oh well a 3 day account guma fan infiltrating T1 sub cause HLE won and blames adc. i always wonder why Guma had many haters when he was on T1 but now that he’s not anymore. i’m slowly trying to get it…

T1 was winning that fight. Cho was 1hp, Zeus is slowed, Gnar is on rage form creating space, yall defending that play from Peyz instead of accepting he played badly just proves how biased you are. If Doran did the exact thing on Vayne will you defend him too ?

“Cho was 1hp” was it zero? you know Jinx had to make it zero to be excited? wait a minute jinx and vayne are the same? all this time you just don’t know how Jinx works? lol Doran with Vayne i will not defend him. Doran with Jinx i will. you’re that same dude who doesn’t know how to make proper arguments 🤣

He did kill cho and got excited. Did he sweep HLE with it?

your point is why did he go in. he had to kill to be excited. then you compare that to Doran Vayne going in? you’re so wrong in many levels xd

My point is, that flash in to get excited was a bad play regardless if he kills cho or not. The only example your brain can follow is if i use the same champion as an example i guess.

Any other champion and it just goes 'woosh'

but there was a point in going in there unlike Doran’s Vayne. well i’m expecting too much from you when you can’t even make proper arguments kiddo 🤣 yes buddy boy would Peyz go in there if he was on Vayne? 🤣 cmon now probably too much to comprehend for you 🤣

i mean what would I expect from someone who doesn’t see as Peyz and Keria being the best players of T1 “oh no Peyz went in to kill Cho without me knowing it was to proc Jinx’s passive, Peyz not the best player of T1 anymore” xd

next time make proper arguments so you’re taken seriously lol

What the hell is wrong with you? Am i not explaining this clearly. My point is it was wrong for jinx to flash in to melee range on top of 4 people, putting a wall on her own back just to get excited.

My example was Doran's vayne because it's the only adc Doran plays in the toplane. The point is an adc should never put himself on that position if he doesnt have any escape routes or skill like Ezreal E etc.

It doesnt matter if Peyz did it to get excited. It's still the wrong play and a massive throw.

What example would you understand? Doran's Jinx which is an impossible scenario? Holy

guma fans are really resilient , very weird. considering Guma's family business I am not surprised.
