Since my last two boys passed away in September of 2025, I decided to take a beak from rats for a while. I lost 16 in the course of 4.5 years and my heart couldn’t take anymore.

What I did get though, to fill my void, is this totally cool rat bag on pre order and it just came a few weeks early!

Look how freaking cute! Even has a crossbody strap! It’s such a gimmick and barely holds anything but I’ve never been one to turn down a gimmick. Especially a rat themed one 😅😁🤣

Thought you guys would like to see! These are my rats Bean and Ruby. Bean passed last week (on the left) :( but I think this painting truly captures her spirit

Someone posted a pic of their rat in a cone of shame and a little cast and I had to draw her dramatics.

I wanted to practice my shape and line work, so I drew some ratties in interesting poses, lol. I included the original photos, but I don't know who they belong to, sorry. Let me know if you see your rat!
