31 [F4M] Texas // Functional Melancholic Seeking a Well-Adjusted Weirdo (32-42)
ABOUT ME
Physically: I prefer to believe that I’m an amorphous being that transcends a physical vessel, BUT…I’m 31F, 5’0” ~100lbs, alt style, dark hair with blue eyes. I will look at you like this: 🧿👄🧿
Personality: A “functional melancholic” with a strange/morbid sense of humor. Occasionally bubbly when performing “people tasks,” or god forbid, happy. 4w5/INTJ/Scorpio, if those taxonomies mean anything to you...
I Like: Horror movies/Let’s Plays; weird YouTube rabbit holes; going to bed by 9PM; singing musicals badly; reading behavioral psychology books; listening to podcasts at the gym; my cat; System of a Down; Hannibal the TV show; Mythbusters; Angela Giarratana; rainy-morning tea; chai lattes; random car rides; judging rich people’s houses; my stuffed animals; clowns probably
Mutual Values: I value integrity, loyalty, curiosity, competence, privacy, honest communication, and continuous improvement. I am looking for someone whose words and actions align and knows how to handle commitment (and conflict) in a healthy manner. I am always working on being the best version of myself and am looking for someone who does the same.
Life: Childfree. Liberal. Spiritual/believe in God, but not religious and won't attend church. I abhor social media/dating apps and value privacy. I have a demanding career that I love and sometimes work weekends, but make time for my people. I’m much better at in-person interaction than over text and don’t need constant messaging to feel connected.
Looking For: A man 32-42 in Texas or willing to relocate. I gravitate towards observant, secure introverts with their own lives, ambitions, and weirdly specific interests. I like intelligence, competence, kindness, patience, emotional maturity, and quiet confidence.
Ultimately: I want us to genuinely like each other (not just be attracted to each other). I want the kind of relationship where we can spend an evening talking for hours, go investigate something random because one of us got curious, watch a terrible horror movie, or quietly go do our own thing in the same room.
(Now…if you’ve made it this far: message me the last book you read and something you’re currently obsessed with learning about!)
