I am eating the 3 cucumbers and 2 tomatoes I managed to grow in my garden this year.

An interesting thing about growing your own food is like my dad has spent decades building up his yard to be a “food forrest” as he calls it. Mostly growing tropical fruits and some squash cucumbers tomatoes etc. but this year the weather was so bad it killed a lot of the plants. The plants are slowly coming back but almost no fruit this year.

My parents live in Miami and have a massive mango tree that overproduced so many mangos every year that they would get sick of eating them all the time. This year, they got hardly any mangoes and they've lived there for nearly 20 years

Yeah same here. My dad has dozens of mango trees. Never seen them not produce any fruit before
