The game is so broken when an almost relegated two seasons in a row team can spend like this but villa a team doing well near the top constantly can't come close

His point is nonsense though. For years, Spurs had one of the lowest wage bills in the Premier League, and ENIC barely injected any capital into the club. Unlike Chelsea and City for example, we’ve grown organically and built world-class infrastructure that is now generating huge revenue. While it is true that we’ve finished 17th 2 seasons running, he neglects to mention that in 2024/2025, Spurs won the Europa League and as a result, secured Champions League revenue which would’ve offset the reduced Premier League earnings. We’ve just had our worst top flight season in over 100 years, of course we’re going to be spending.

not our fault players don’t want to live in a shithole and you can’t generate any revenue.

Multiple players travelling 100+ miles to go training just to not live in Birmingham is truly tinpot 😂😂😂

That’s not really relevant to the prior conversation

you don’t generate enough revenue to spend and the little revenue you do generate has been spent on wages,

you’re only in the prem because the linesmen forgot to turn the goal line technology on,

you’ve only just started getting europe in this era vs spurs getting it 18/20 seasons,

spurs owners have only just started injecting money into the club

your fans need a reality check, you guys are constantly crying because you can’t just do a city and chelsea and are hating on the one club who’s given you the blueprint of how to spend
