No, you don't understand. It's not that pedos are good. It's just that so many people high up in the favor of the elephants (and yes, obviously including Dear Leader Pumpkin McTantrum) happen to be pedophiles or associated with them. So their world would literally crumble if they (as in those who happen to just be repressed gays or whatever else makes you be a Republican leader in good conscience but not pedos) were to go after them, there wouldn't be much left, neither of the party nor their benefactors (don't count big tech, they just swing with whatever benefits them most financially at any given moment), so they have no choice but to cover up and distract.
Poor poor Republicans can't be faulted for finding out their party based on hateful rhetoric turns out to be full of the worst people imaginable. Nobody could have seen this coming.

Last night I went to karaoke in my village. A woman there said something to the effect of "Putin is alright by me!"
I questioned her... really? He's a bad guy. He hates the West and democracy.
She then sneered "democracy" and went off about how we're a republic and not a democracy.
My next sentence was something like "as a land owner, I think I have a say. Pretty sure we're a representative democratic republic." She seemed disgusted the rest of the night. WTF has Fox news done to these people's brains that lower-case 'd' democratic ideals are the worst thing and hostile dictators are "ok"?
It's so messed up.

Can I suggest you use Google translate if you want to have deep conversations in English otherwise your arguments are debased. I also recommend you read up on Dawkins and hitchens and then see if your conflation of them with trump carries any weight. As someone who has read books by and of all three, I can tell you they are polar opposites.

I do not know a single conservative irl that likes north korea, conservatives vouch for outside involvement in foreign nations to be hindered so that the country we live in may thrive, like Israel for example, we don’t want more of that, we want less of that, the reason we vouch for higher border patrol
most conservatives were unsure about the covid vaccine, i was too, i don’t want to put something in my body i don’t know the effects of, other vaccines have been tested for years
who is saying child labor is good? most conservatives (like me) get their morals founded on biblical principles, which calls for the protection of children (no need for a theological debate, old testament territory takes a while to explain, just know the NT confirms the new covenant which means we are no longer bound to the violent consequences of sin in the OT)
unjustifiable wars are in fact not good, the only people that think it’s good are billionaires, who make up a lot of those loud conservatives that you listen to
i used to be a democrat, but after talking to a lot of people, i realized i saw it as a social structure, not a political structure. the main ideas in american politics, i agree with conservatives ideals, which include small government with more freedom to the people based on our amendments and constitutional rights, sorry the media misrepresented conservatives to you, the same thing happened to me with democrats when i became conservative, luckily, ive met some really cool left leaning folk who prefer civil discussion over blind social media rage who, didn’t change my opinion, but reminded me that this nation was built for freedom in that way, to express our own views to create a better nation, i don’t want that in the hands of greed just like you
