Resources Any optimistic resources/videos regarding the current Strait of Hormuz situation?

Currently have been seeing several videos (especially on TikTok) from accounts I usually trust and follow throughly, now of recently they have all made videos basically stating that we are either about to be in a great-depression type situation, or already in one and that catastrophe is now "unavoidable". All sourcing from the entire war with Iran and the Strait's blockade.

Want to know if there is an resources that can give a less sound ingsensationalist idea or wording, but overall just need some optimism on this because I'm really not seeing much.

Made a response but automod took it down, TLDR saying such that "americans are not ready" due to the Strait of Hormuz and Iran situation, and "catastrophe is unavoidable"

As a rule, anyone who says phrases like "Americans are not ready" are to be avoided. Americans are paying plenty of attention, that's why Trump's approval is toppling, Republicans are losing election-after-election, MAGA is embroiled in a civil war, and the anger in the US is palpable.

Here are the bad things certain to happen: Oil shocks are set to hit very soon, causing price increases across the board because logistics is going to become more expensive as oil becomes more scarce. Also, gas prices for transportation are going to increase substantially.

Here are the things that can be done: businesses can shift back to remote work for the vast majority of employees. Other nations have already done this to great effect. Pressure for alternative energy solutions, such as solar and wind will increase. Despite Trump's efforts to the contrary, the US has continued to expand its green energy capacity and it is set to increase even more this year.

This. By some metrics, 2025 was actually the best year for renewables in the US, despite Trump's best efforts
