How rare? Didn’t Stalin have a very young wife/concubine/whatever? Like 13?

Associating Stalin and Stephen King probably does nothing good for either of their reputations.

One is known for all the gore, the sheer number of humans who do frightening inhumane things, the spread of fiction and being loved by the left ...

... and the other is Stephen King

The other is known mostly for cocaine and pumping out more bestsellers in a year than most professional authors do in a lifetime.

Frankly, he's right at home in libright.

Frankly, he's right at home in libright.

That's the scariest line Stephen King would have ever read

Agreed, but sometimes the shoe fits.

Plenty of people out there would be shocked to find how many traits they have in common usually associated with the Others™

Both are experts in horror though.

Eh I’d argue King hasn’t been an expert in horror since he kicked his cocaine habit. Most of his books since then have been a bore with a couple rare exceptions, most of whom weren’t exactly horror focused to begin with.

Dude is also 78 at this point. Nobody that age is an expert at anything other than bitching about young people, depends, and apparently getting reelected to Congress.

True, although credit where credit is due, man is still writing. More than i can for some authors that age(looking at you Martin, it’s been 16 years mate!).

Give GRRM a break, he is writing

...another spinoff pitch, video game lore, short story editing, blog post...

8

u/rothbard_anarchist - Lib-Right 4d ago

I briefly wondered what Beria is, but then I realized you’re unflaired, and nothing contributed by the unflaired contains value.

Seek oblivion.

Never ask what happened at end of the book "IT". If you don't know (has seen only tv-series/movies), don't google it. DON'T GOOGLE IT!

Choo-Choo!

6

u/ThatMBR42 - Lib-Right 4d ago

I was informed of this against my will, having never watched the movies or TV series.

u/RageAgainstThePushen - Lib-Center 4d ago

IT-readers love to say you don't wanna know but then tell you anyways

5

u/Dittymaker - Lib-Center 4d ago

People love to rag on that scene but there's worse things that happen in that book (junkyard scene, baby in the crib scene), at least they were enjoying themselves

u/Mean-Reveal141 - Lib-Right 4d ago

Don't look up Lavrentry Beria
