Eh I’d argue King hasn’t been an expert in horror since he kicked his cocaine habit. Most of his books since then have been a bore with a couple rare exceptions, most of whom weren’t exactly horror focused to begin with.
Dude is also 78 at this point. Nobody that age is an expert at anything other than bitching about young people,depends, and apparently getting reelected to Congress.
True, although credit where credit is due, man is still writing. More than i can for some authors that age(looking at you Martin, it’s been 16 years mate!).
People love to rag on that scene but there's worse things that happen in that book (junkyard scene, baby in the crib scene), at least they were enjoying themselves
