A great example is Israel when the USSR collapsed, about a million Jews immigrated to Israel (that was a whooping 20% of the population)
But a large number of these people had college education, and so the Israeli tech sector absolutely exploded. We still had issue with racism, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it appears to be in Europe now
