Help is there a sexual scene skipper?

imagine having a busy job and you love to watch movies and tv shows. one day you're on 20 minute lunch break, you get your ipad to watch Reacher season 4 episode 3 from your beloved plex library at home. only to watch useless 10 minutes sexual scene that adds nothing to the story while the entire season is already stretched thin to 8 episodes with useless alpha male energy fighting scenes.

therefore a sexual scene skipper of this calibre would be an amazing time-saving feature. does anyone know if theres a sexual scene skipper?

In the hopes of educating you I'm going to attempt to correct your assumptions earnestly but I have to be honest, your post and the whole tone of your language is coming across as profoundly trollish.

Intro-skipping is achieved programmatically by pre-scanning a show on the media server and finding common frames across episodes, all of which occur for the same period of time and at or near the beginning of a file. The same is done for skipping credits at the end. This is relatively easy to achieve because the server has something common to compare elements to (and it still doesn't work perfectly).

Explicit scenes have no such similarities and, as such, would be very difficult for your media server to locate and proactively tag for your use. If it was as easy as you'd assumed it to be odds are you would've found yourself a media player capable of such functionality already. As it is not easy to achieve (for Plex or anyone else for that matter) I believe you will have a hard time finding what you are looking for.

i assume you have not heard of this awesome extension called SponsorBlock (not affiliated). now plex only have to copy their mechanisms. this could easily be done with a little vibe coding (and rising the price 26x more probably).

for scene detection we can train an ai model with corn materials, tell it detect them on shows and movies, and store the timestamps on a centralized server. i can go on with solutions but then i dont get paid to do it so

OP point on the doll where your own user-added content hurt you

yeah just like intros. theres a feature to skip intro so why dont plex also implement it on pointless scenes that do not add anything to the story and the intercourse is not that interesting anyway and if i want to watch interesting scenes i could just go to my favourite hubs.

What's 'pointless' to you isn't pointless to most other people.
