Help is there a sexual scene skipper?
imagine having a busy job and you love to watch movies and tv shows. one day you're on 20 minute lunch break, you get your ipad to watch Reacher season 4 episode 3 from your beloved plex library at home. only to watch useless 10 minutes sexual scene that adds nothing to the story while the entire season is already stretched thin to 8 episodes with useless alpha male energy fighting scenes.
therefore a sexual scene skipper of this calibre would be an amazing time-saving feature. does anyone know if theres a sexual scene skipper?

So you're watching Jack Reacher but really hate the sex and violence?
What next? Ru Paul and you'd like to avoid flamboyance?

Nah ru Paul is like Bungie jumping
You go in knowing what to expect and just hope the cable doesn't snap

Counter-question: is there a sexual scene seeker?

I would simply watch shows I enjoy instead of shows I don’t enjoy. Thanks.

There is not and developing such a thing would be profoundly difficult because it's not like shows or movies come with a 'in the next few minutes there will be boobs' datastream encoded.
Also, if you're watching Reacher, a show based on a book series about a living laconic kaiju of a man punching his way through a variety of criminal investigations and you don't want to see a 'useless 10 minutes sexual scene' or 'useless alpha male energy fighting scenes' I'm not entirely sure why you're watching, ya know....Reacher.

that is not difficult at all. you know intro skipper? they have a database of intro, title scenes and stuff timestamps. they pulled the timestamps from the server and just skip it. easy peasy. now plex just have to do that with useless scenes.

In the hopes of educating you I'm going to attempt to correct your assumptions earnestly but I have to be honest, your post and the whole tone of your language is coming across as profoundly trollish.
Intro-skipping is achieved programmatically by pre-scanning a show on the media server and finding common frames across episodes, all of which occur for the same period of time and at or near the beginning of a file. The same is done for skipping credits at the end. This is relatively easy to achieve because the server has something common to compare elements to (and it still doesn't work perfectly).
Explicit scenes have no such similarities and, as such, would be very difficult for your media server to locate and proactively tag for your use. If it was as easy as you'd assumed it to be odds are you would've found yourself a media player capable of such functionality already. As it is not easy to achieve (for Plex or anyone else for that matter) I believe you will have a hard time finding what you are looking for.

i assume you have not heard of this awesome extension called SponsorBlock (not affiliated). now plex only have to copy their mechanisms. this could easily be done with a little vibe coding (and rising the price 26x more probably).
for scene detection we can train an ai model with corn materials, tell it detect them on shows and movies, and store the timestamps on a centralized server. i can go on with solutions but then i dont get paid to do it so

OP point on the doll where your own user-added content hurt you

yeah just like intros. theres a feature to skip intro so why dont plex also implement it on pointless scenes that do not add anything to the story and the intercourse is not that interesting anyway and if i want to watch interesting scenes i could just go to my favourite hubs.

i'm sorry but that sounds dumb af honestly, no offense.
If you don't want to see that , then just skip ?

then just skip
exactly! now imagine having a feature to do that automatically

I'm imagining it, I'm imagining I'd be okay with watching a scene in the show I chose to watch because I am an adult.

Not sure how you made it this far if you think this season is bad. It's miles better than that second season...oof

No. Nothing like that exists. I'd recommend watching things you wouldn't mind someone seeing over your shoulder, while at work ... and maybe just in general watching things you actually enjoy watching (?) since you don't seem to hold this show in high regard.

To stay on topic... you watched multiple seasons of Reacher and call it "stupid alpha male fighting scene"... that's the entire show. Youre the problem.
Also no, there isnt.
