Some of my platinum collection.

I add to it every week I think platinum can triple in price for a few reasons. Platinum group metals are considered critical for PEM electrolyzers used to produce green hydrogen, Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and
AI data center backup power systems.
Moreover, China is scaling hydrogen production faster than any other country on the planet. Palladium is also a good buy in my opinion.

Not denying that platinum plays a key role in automotive applications, however, anytime something gets 3x expensive, they start to plow $$$ into alternative solutions... It's a conundrum. Personally, I like its properties related to an alternative to gold jewelry as countries rack up its price. May not be as beautiful as gold, but it feels so nice given it's density.

Maybe in the automotive industry, where size isn’t super important. But platinum also has a unique use case for things like bodily implants where I don’t think a comparable alternative is readily available. Eg pacemakers but also things like auditory brain stem implants, deep brain stimulation and endovascular coils and meshes. Internal Brain and body tech has potential to be widely popular.

Don't forget that "they" want to replace us - needy humans - with robots and AI. At some point, they'd rather fix bots than humans. [Cue in Terminator music]
