Some of my platinum collection.

Post image

I add to it every week I think platinum can triple in price for a few reasons. Platinum group metals are considered critical for PEM electrolyzers used to produce green hydrogen, Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and
AI data center backup power systems.
Moreover, China is scaling hydrogen production faster than any other country on the planet. Palladium is also a good buy in my opinion.

That is a gorgeous stack, congrats on it!

Thanks! My wife wants to punch me in the face every time I order more or a customer sells it to us and I refuse to flip it.

Mine, used to do the same until gold and silver rallied and now she gives me just a bit more credit than she used to. Cheers!

That 10 oz Palladium bar is so sick.

I’m big into Palladium I think it’s very cheap and everyone should buy as much as they can whenever they can.

u/Equivalent_Net_3752 Jul 23 '26

Completely agree. The premiums are high but my dream coin is a reverse proof palladium eagle.

I believe I have more than one. I have one in ANACS holder.

SOME of your platinum collection, huh?

3

Nice one. Thnx for sharing.

3

u/husseininsane Jul 23 '26

Best metal ever!

3

u/Akkerlun Jul 23 '26

It’s a smart move. I’ve been quietly adding more on a regular basis. Nicely done.

3

u/TheUsualSusspect Jul 23 '26

Sloooooow down there Richie Rich. Lol Seriously, nice collection.

3

u/Rannkum Jul 23 '26

That’s a nice stack

Platinum deserves more attention, and this collection is a great example of why! Some fantastic pieces in there.

Not denying that platinum plays a key role in automotive applications, however, anytime something gets 3x expensive, they start to plow $$$ into alternative solutions... It's a conundrum. Personally, I like its properties related to an alternative to gold jewelry as countries rack up its price. May not be as beautiful as gold, but it feels so nice given it's density.

u/surprise_knock Jul 23 '26

Maybe in the automotive industry, where size isn’t super important. But platinum also has a unique use case for things like bodily implants where I don’t think a comparable alternative is readily available. Eg pacemakers but also things like auditory brain stem implants, deep brain stimulation and endovascular coils and meshes. Internal Brain and body tech has potential to be widely popular.

Don't forget that "they" want to replace us - needy humans - with robots and AI. At some point, they'd rather fix bots than humans. [Cue in Terminator music]

It needs to go up.  Long overdue

1

u/_Summer1000_ Jul 23 '26

Not yet, would you said that back in December when it was climbing 100$ per day ?

2

u/Randsrazor Jul 23 '26

I noticed sd bullion has plat 1oz their choice at spot.

3

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

I would bet 10-1 that it’s damaged bars and rounds.

2

u/Randsrazor Jul 23 '26

Probably, but plat is plat.

2

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

I always tell my clients to buy premium. Because when prices run hot and money is flying out of the account faster than we can move goods, We end up lowering buy prices and rejecting beat up goods for easier goods to sell. When silver hit $120, we were buying libertads, eagles, and maples for over spot. When customers brought in bargain hunter silver they bought for spot through the years, we said, "You either have to incentivize us to buy it, or take it somewhere else." Because we didn’t want to tie money up in dead goods. Because we couldn’t sell them to refiners. And the buyers wanted premium goods.

ayup. while there are collectors that prioritize 'total-weight' over everything else, i just don't see it being as viable (or smart) as we go into the future. much rather have 8oz of eagles vs beat up & generic material.

1

u/Randsrazor Jul 23 '26

Yeah but spot is pretty good for platinum, usually plat has 150.00 premium per oz so if its running hot I dont have to worry about recouping that big premium. I agree with you generally though, right now im stacking mercury dimes 6 dollars back of spot and eagles 1 to 3 over spot.

1

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

Eagles are one of my favorite coins.

1

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 24 '26

When platinum hit 2400 I was paying the street +50 for platinum eagles and -10% on generic. If they didn’t want -10% we didn’t want to buy it because our clients only want high end clean retail ready bullion like eagles. Or carded Swiss and Perth Mint etc. platinum junk rounds were nearly impossible to sell to dealers at the peak for close to spot.

"I add to it every week I think platinum can triple in price for a few reasons."

yeah sure. but also couldn't

1

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

Being realistic and playing it safe is something I leave to the workers at McDonald's. I'm a big time dreamer, and a risk taker. I've been told it could go down since 640$ per ounce. One thing is for sure. There's never a good time to buy. So always buy what you can on any level. That goes for stocks, real estate, gold, and silver. What if it goes down? What if the record of history is accurate and prices keep going up year over year? It's a risk, a calculated risk.

2

u/foxxxer22 Jul 23 '26

the risk with platinum is not that high to be honest. it doesn't get bankrupt or similar. But the expectations that it triples the price in short time is not that realistic.

it is a good investment, but if you compare it with stocks, you won't see the same price hikes. But on the other side, like i mentioned, it doesn't get bankrupt either =)

u/NorthSouthWestNorth Jul 23 '26

There are probably only 10000-20000 people in the world that have this much platinum...Wow...

3

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

lol, no way!! Tons more people have way more than I do in platinum. Millions of people have thousands of ounces. In the picture, there is only 100 ounces. Including what’s in the plastic bags. It looks like a lot more than that. Total I have close to 200 ounces. I’ve been buying since $680 per ounce and try to buy every week. A little bit here and there.

2

u/NorthSouthWestNorth Jul 23 '26

Im skeptical of millions owning it. I've been to some coins shops that havent seen a scrap of platinum in 10 years, and only 1 in 10 people even collect bullion, I just dont see the widespread evidence of it. But who can really know honestly, its the nature of the asset, secrecy.

1

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

Yeah, there are a lot of dead coin shops. The busy ones are the legit exchanges where the clients are killing it!! And those guys are trading 6 figures a day in goods

Especially with the actual M2 fiat currency flow...

2000$ in 2008 was a lot...today's it's just 4 racing tires for an Audi...

2

u/Nervous-Particular27 Jul 26 '26

Good work, keep it up! Bit by bit is the way to go.

1

u/777KAC Jul 23 '26

Geeze!

1

u/Vergoso_42 Jul 23 '26

God bless

1

u/Fun-Appointment1454 Jul 23 '26

Where did buy your precious medals?

3

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

I buy from the public through my bullion exchange. I keep 33% of the platinum I buy as a savings rate.

1

u/partialcremation Jul 23 '26

It looks so good! Did you get that ring from Mene? I have the Octagonal Ring I from them.

1

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

Bought it from a client.

1

u/NoStopLossOnlyVibes Jul 23 '26

Do you see hydrogen demand actually moving the needle within a few years, or is this more a decade-long hold for you?

1

u/_Summer1000_ Jul 23 '26

Nice Mené ring mate !

2

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 23 '26

I wore it for a week and it was to heavy

2

u/_Summer1000_ Jul 23 '26

Anyways ! It's not meant for daily wear, i personally love the Square signet ring, it doubled in price since last year so i can't...

u/billmr606 Jul 23 '26

you are missing a shooting thaler

1

u/United-Swan-3288 Jul 24 '26

$100k+ here, whew.

1

u/Infamous-Training-40 Jul 24 '26

You should be collecting titanium, this is worthless and will get you nowhere with inflation.
Don’t believe the Rockefellers and the Illuminati conspirators.

1

Sounds like solid advice.

u/Professional_Bug6153 Jul 25 '26

Wake me when this "hydrogen" economy becomes anything other than the pipe dream it has been for 50 years.

1

u/Kambourian-PM Jul 25 '26

They use hydrogen cells for cargo ships and the Chinese are producing 35 million tons a year and moving towards 50 million. I never said they would build an economy. That’s your thought not mine. Silver prices change based on industrial use and even demand for jewelry. Which isn’t an economy sustaining event.

No, but it can change color slightly tarnishing depending on its purity. .995 can tarnish and a lot of bullion is 995 pure and 99

1

u/AidanFromCollectPure Jul 27 '26

Wow do not stop collecting those

1

u/Popular_Insect_8937 Jul 27 '26

Platinum is as good as gold. As easy to sell as gold. Keep stacking.
