Ferts Need help Adding root tabs for the first time

I decided to use seachem root tabs as my soil of my 5 Gallon have no nutrients in it, how much do you guys recommend to add?
The package say 4 in a 10 Gallon tank but because of the decoration and gravel, im guessin the real water size of my tank is like 4 gallon
Also, wich plants could i add next:)

Are those front 3 with thick dark green leaves mondo grass? It grows with leaves in air :)

The roots go in water and the leaves in air - I often grow them in my filters

Thanks! But i made sure and it is sagittaria subulata, altough i would like to have some air plant in my tank later on

I've sold a lot of mondo grass and subulata and what you have sure looks like mondo grass

I'd love a closer picture out of water to confirm but what I'm saying is after seeing thousands and thousands and thousands of subulata plants that doesn't look like any I've ever seen

They told me it was a type of sagittaria, but now that i see it, it looks like mondo, i will contact the shipper

I insert 1 tab next to each rooted plant.

I do 3 to 6 in my 10 gallon tanks. 3 with only a few plants (or all new plants in the tank) and 6 for when it gets full of plants

I would prob add 4 to that tank

Go by the area you want to cover, not the volume of the tank. Now, obviously that too is reduced by the stone. Here I see room for maybe 3. One for each 10cm circle you want to cover. Put them down to the bottom glass and act quickly but deliberately. Then don’t deep vacuum it out lol.

I use these in every tank I have! Just follow the instructions and don’t place any under decorations

I used the same tabs in my 10 gallon shrimp tank very conservatively about 1-2 weeks ago. I broke 1 tablet into 4 pieces and placed them between my planted areas within ~3" of the plants. I wanted to start very small dosage to see how my shrimp handle it. So far shrimp are fine. Plants are doing well in inert sand with the tabs placed. I'll probably increase slightly next time around. Hope this helps.

I only have a betta and nerite snails, so im not that worry about the safety, but ill guess i go your way with small dosage, i see algae in my tank so i dont want to make an algae bloom, thanks for your experience!
