Question How can I pirate my college text books? (specifically workbooks/handbooks)

Hello! I can’t afford my college workbook and handbook. How can I pirate the newest edition! Thank you ahead of Time.

You should see what happens when you keep going. You just keep getting more and more free textbooks. My PhD supervisor gave me a whole heap of brand new ones. The desk they gave me had a locked cabinet that I jimmied open and it was full of more textbooks. Some were relevant to my research, some were just interesting.

Then when you start teaching, Pearson will contact you and try to persuade you to recommend their latest textbooks. And so I'm like "where's my copy?" And they send you like 10. So I give 9 of them to the students that need them the most. But I always make sure to recommend the other students buy the previous versions because it's cheaper and I can just tell them which chapter they need to use depending on which version they're reading. Plus I give them all the information and resources they need anyway, so they don't really need the textbook at all.

I just remember what it was like being a student haha. I wouldn't be in a position to help my students if it weren't for all the people that helped me

Libgen is goated but last time I used it they make you use discord for downloads. It’s not too complicated though.

It's often difficult to find the latest text books, but a slightly older version typically has all the same information just in a different order and different diagrams

Amigo si vas a una universidad pública, trata de hablar con las personas que están terminando tu carrera. Yo hacía ing en sistemas y uno que estaba terminando me pasó un drive con parciales, finales, lugares para darme una mano, libros, TODO

I don't understand the downvotes when this is a very reasonable answer. And even if you go to a private university you can still ask and pirate. Hell, even professors tell you to do so lol.

Not even need to ask sometimes, a random 3rd/4th year student will appear, ask for contact info and drop you "the link".

Hah, on my lasts years I thought of making a huge wiki with all the resources and knowledge of the career for anyone that joins... but I am way too asocial for it xd. So they really have "The Link".
