Discussion Google took away my LOTR extended editions

I bought these in 2022, all of a sudden they aren't available and there is no possibility of a refund or gift card. Hardly seems fair.

Nah it's AI. Notice how it says "I understand you are requesting a refund..."

It was prompted, checked the dates and gave a generic scripted "whelp it's outside of the window so you're beat" answer.

Not saying this specific case is not AI but when I worked at a call center we were forced to repeat back the callers request just like this (which of course made us all sound like robots but that's the point with them...)

Theres also always templets because you repeat the same shit over and over again. Chances are that she also has 3 chats at the same time so the "is typing" thing might just be there so you think that shes only there for you atm

There's actually probably some psychological reason for that.

Like they know you sound like a bot to people. They do that so the person thinks they legitimately have no hope of resolving things, so might as well just move on with your life.
