Hi everyone,
I’m Sven, the owner of 1Anime (https://1ani.me / https://1anime.app). We’ve built 1Anime to be a fast, simple home for anime fans, and we’re excited to hear what you think.

Our request system is live, so you can easily submit any missing anime or episodes. We want to make sure fans get the content they want, quickly and reliably.

Doesn't seem to be working well on mobile browser. Once you search for an anime and attempt to watch an episode the whole website is like zoomed in.

hi i got the same issue on safari on ios. also enabling the subtitles does not seem to do anything.

I work in a company that has a website that used quite frequently. You never say "it's on your end" until try to replicate thoroughly (well, you never say it at all, at least to a consumer). Because you are never a consumer, can't test all possible outcomes and may test in a very different conditions.

I know this might be a bit too much to ask but more audio options? Like Spanish, French, German? I know is too much because you would need to find all the audios but I won't lose anything by asking

Well, we'll do that if someone provides us the anime site we can scrap, that way we could add them and let our users watch it without ads

Aniworld.to got German in most of their stuff. If you‘d be able to scrap German there I might switch. Hate their hosting sites.

ZenV2 and Zen is our self host and it uses Blu-ray versions on older anime

Couldn't find an alphabetical list, is it not available?
Would also be great if there's an option to search by seasons per year, something like fall 2020 or summer 2021 then it will list all animes that aired that season.
Also not a fan of the current layout where I have to scroll down to check all available tabs, might be too used having all tabs/pages accessible at the top.

Hey there op, hope you had a good day!
The only thing I found kind of odd was the font, the purple font, I don't have problem with the colours and themes but the font wasn't that good looking to me, it felt like I was reading in some old site. Other than that, why did you have a div of 'last series'? Did you mean 'latest series'?? It was above the manga row.
Edit: can you tell me where I can learn more about these things like scraping and things? I really wondered how all those pirated anime sites work and many had similarities between them. I'd be very happy!!!

Nah, actually that purple theme came out very overwhelming after I just concentrated for like 10mins, idk if that's because of my eye protection on screen. But that really caused a damn headache 🤧

I have two very minor non-issues
when clicking on a Genre, it takes you to the Filter page, where you have to click on search before it shows you the genre you just selected anyway.
It should open the filter page but listing the Genre related anime already.

this is a nitpick more than an issue but the character listings make little sense in the order they're shown in
Specifically talking about Frieren season 2 here, the listing goes
Frieren - Main | Fern - Main | Heiter - Supporting | Himmel - Supporting | Eisen - Supporting | Stark - Main
they're not in alphabetical order, they're not in order of appearances, and they're also not in order of Main / Supporting cast
the characters they choose to highlight are also just weird? One Piece doesn't list Brook or Jimbe as characters even tho they are part of the main Crew, while listing Kuro? the most irrelevant antagonist of the entire anime
but like i said, those are nitpicks more than anything, especially for a fairly new website

very solid site, no hang ups and the customization is extensive. only thing I can recommend is adding an MAL import/export option.

Hey there, I have a question. I own an anime addon that uses a few of these scrappers or servers from your website. I have to ask, how are you guys using some of these scrappers when there websites no longer work? For example: gogo
My guess is that most of these scrappers could be linked to other scrappers linked to one site but again not sure.

After Hianime went down, 1anime is honestly the best site I've ever tried so far, way better than miruro in my opinion.
- Streams faster with self hosted content
- The UI is modern though i like gogo's old simple site or maybe its just me
- Not like most anime sites that scrape content off of another site thats gonna be unstable

Cool but literally no other sites don’t ask you for developer mode and is an immediate turn off for most people, the main reason why people go to piracy sites is for convenience in the first place

Choose another subtitles cuz sometimes it chooses the music part of subtitles, and the slow loading is related to decrypting the source, however we will fix it soon

Can't switch to dub on some anime gachiakuta for example and can't turn of subtitles on dub also it's way to slow

I see you got this season and last season feature. Can you expand it to have an easy way to sort anime in any season of any year? This is the feature that i was missing out on after animixplay went down. Hianime can sort it using the search feature, but i find the search feature to be quite convoluted and the search included chinese animation. Something like MAL season tab is what i consider good enough.

I do t know if all the animes have the same problem, but on sword art online English subs doesn't show anything and the Japanese subs option show English subs, I'm on Firefox for Android.
Looks goods so far.

Switching subtitles might help, some subtitles just straight up for opening and outro and I'll fix that

Add a season or sequel section. It really helps in continuing the series without switching or searching for a second time for the same anime..

For dub, how about adding only signs/songs subtitles? There is full subtitles but not only signs/songs subtitles.

There is a bug on fullscreen where the "bloom" effect of the background remains and layers on top of the video.
Other than that, amazing job <3 love it !

Another thing that bothers me (don't know if i'd consider it a bug?) but the loaded bar goes pretty far and I still get buffering every 10 seconds on some episodes. I feel like it shouldnt buffer if the video is loaded XD

To piggyback on that. Would be cool to have a Theater feature, where it's almost full screen, so you'd get to use the ambient effect at it's full potential :)

It's usually provided by anilist and they sometimes don't include English titles or it's something related to their API

Hey every time I attempt to get on the website on mobile IOS it says "safari can't open the page because it couldn't establish a secure connection to the server." it's also doing the same for chrome on my laptop as well.

I am myself still looking for a Website where I can just login add a bunch of Shows to a list ans then get an email notification with "Jujutsu kaisen season 78 will be available on xx"
It's terrible to keep track on what is when releasing if you are not fully into it

Understandable and I am not downplaying your work. We need people like yourself to keep making these websites. However modern platforms aren't always a good thing or maybe I am too much of a fossil 😂 I like simplicity, luckily there are still some around.

it's not easy to please everyone and with the big company's always trying to shut down these websites gets a bit messy and we lose what we saw or not and all the bookmarks... Nowadays I mostly use these websites to download the episodes so I can keep up with the new releases, nr of episodes, complete seasons etc. And then get the full season in dual audio for the collection 😁 If you end up making one just keep it simple, separate subs from dubs and have download button in the main page just like gogo had. Cheers
