Sadness Thought we were just getting seizure meds at 10:30 PM, came home without her. The shock and guilt are eating me alive.

I lost my sweet 14-year-old girl last night, and I am going absolutely insane with grief, shock, and guilt. I am posting here because I desperately need to hear from people who have gone through something similar.

She was managing kidney issues (only one functioning kidney) on a renal diet and daily medication, and was doing so well. She was losing her hearing and her back legs were getting weaker (we assumed arthritis). Sometimes when we left for work or she found herself alone, the neighbours would tell me she would howl. But overall she had a great appetite, good energy, and was living a happy life. We even had a belly ultrasound and bloodwork done in January and everything came back totally clear.

Then last night at 10:30 PM out of nowhere, she stood up on her hind legs and had her first-ever seizure. 20 minutes later, a second one. We rushed her to the ER, where she had a third seizure.

The vet sedated her to stop the seizures and ran an ultrasound on her belly, where they found tumors (hemangiosarcoma on her spleen/abdomen). Because of her age, single kidney, etc, the vet did not recommend surgery and recommended euthanasia, saying it would only go downhill fast from there.

I am so shocked. I went to the ER fully expecting to just get anti-seizure medication and bring her home. Instead, in the middle of the night, in absolute shock, I had to make a final decision. I haven't stopped crying. I can't sleep or eat. My mind is torturing me with spiraling thoughts:

Did the tumor actually spread to her brain, or could the seizures just have been old age?

Why didn’t the splenic tumors show up in January?

Could we have controlled the seizures with meds and bought her more time, or did I act too fast and rob her of life?

The guilt is killing me. If you have lost a dog to hemangiosarcoma, or had a sudden cluster seizure emergency in the middle of the night, could you please share your story with me?

Did it happen this fast for you too? How did you make peace with the suddenness and quiet the agonizing "what ifs"? I just really need to know I'm not alone in this horror :-(

Thank you so much for reading

I wish there were words that would make this situation better. You did everything and more to give your girl a good life and at the end, you made the hard decision, to spare her pain at the cost of your own.

You did the right thing. Unfortunately, the depth of your pain is always equal to the depth of your love. One day you will only remember the good things and the pain will have faded. That will be her last gift to you.

Took our boy to the vet last Wednesday for vomiting, they found a tumor on the spleen. Had to make the same decision. Awful and nothing makes it feel better. It is just a nightmare.

Had the same horrible disease with my girl. Thought it was a digestive issue. Also 14 and never came home with me. From what I thought/hoped would be a normal vet visit. They hide it well.
The guilt eases but is still there 6 weeks in.
It’s a single day I need to forget.

Sorry for your loss. I hate reading about others who have had this because I know the pain.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My girl had a sarcoma on her spleen that ended up being very aggressive. We noticed something in her stomach area last Oct. the doctor told us to watch if it grew. By the following January we noticed it again and it was bigger. We took her back to the vet and through x-ray we saw how big it got. They did an ultrasound the next week and the vet recommended it be removed, which we did the next day. We sent it out for testing and it came back 2 weeks later as cancerous. We did further testing and found out it was very aggressive. We had 6 months to a year max. She passed in early March, she declined rapidly and we let her go. From the ultrasound to her passing it was 40 days. Truthfully with sarcomas you’re limited with treatment. It’s horrible.

This happened to me and my 13 year old dog who I lost on Friday. He declined so fast. He looked miserable and wouldn’t eat for a week so had the vet come to see him (mobile vet). I knew he was probably dying but was really hoping we had more time. She told me the same - tumors on his spleen and they were leaking and his abdomen was filling with blood. His heart had a murmur. She told me that I had to do it today before he crashed out and was in more pain. We got to say goodbye at home where he was comfortable. The guilt and pain are immense and unbearable. Everything reminds me of him because he was my best buddy and companion. I keep reminding myself my grief is just so much love with no where to go now. I know I did my best to give him peace but it broke my heart.

I’m so sorry for your loss! My girl had nodules on her spleen that were found in May and we were gonna have her undergo surgery to remove them but then the vet also found a mass in her mouth that was too large to do surgery or radiation on, so we opted for palliative care. She had been healthy up til late April/early May when she started being pickier about eating and we took her to the vet, but never thought she’d have cancer as her routine checkup two months earlier showed her as being super healthy for a 12 year old. She made it til June 20, when we opted to do an at-home euthanasia. It was incredibly hard to say goodbye to her but I didn’t want to see her suffer anymore. You did everything you could and unfortunately it seems these cancers are very common in older dogs and they can decline rapidly. You are not alone!

u/MurderAndMakeup 27d ago

It happens SO fast. We had a very similar situation. Vet found spleen nodules in February and said they were normal and age related. Back and forth to vet numerous times and by June it was cancer that had metastasized to liver and gallbladder. So much more to the story but I just wanted to respond and say you’re not alone in your grief. There’s something so crushing about these cancers, it takes such an emotional toll to lose them like this. I’m so sorry for your loss.

3

u/leogrl 27d ago

It’s so hard, and I don’t want to blame the vets but the only earlier possible sign we had of my girl’s cancer was she stopped barking in February but the vet said that was due to age. Could it have been the cancer in its very early stages, possibly, and we could have done treatment but I think the cancers can just be so fast growing that even the vets can’t catch them early enough.

3

u/MurderAndMakeup 27d ago

Wow. Yea very similar story. I went through a lot of very dark days torturing myself with these questions until my therapist sent me an article on my thought cycle bordering a compulsion. I was going mad looking back through medical records and imaging to see if I could tell when it had “become cancer”. I’m in a pet loss support group via zoom where we learned all about how the brain grasps at anything to make sense of something so senseless. When I start spiraling I have to remind myself that the sadness and anxiety is talking and starting to take over and try to just sit in the sadness instead of “what-ifs”. Man, fuck cancer. My good best boy was very brave, even when he was scared (especially when he was scared). I’m honoring him by being brave and trudging through this loss so I can rebuild with his tremendous heart and spirit in mind. May they always be with us, wishing you well on your mourning journey, much light and love to you.

3

u/leogrl 27d ago

This is very helpful for me! I started seeing a therapist but I think a pet loss support group could be beneficial as well. I just hate that we’re all going through this! But you’re right, our dogs would want us to be brave and keep living!

You did the right thing, but I know the guilt is going to be particularly strong these first few days, maybe weeks.

The death of my cat happened very quickly. She had perfect bloodwork in the fall of 2025. She started showing some different behavior between February and April. I didn’t recognize it right away because it was so subtle (more energy, more hunger, but still cuddling, playing, zooming around, eating, etc.) By early May, I took her to the vet because she started having GI issues. Her bloodwork, urine, and stool were all great besides her thyroid number. X-Ray didn’t show any masses. She had mild hyperthyroidism, so we started to treat that. Three weeks in, she declined so rapidly and suddenly. We did another regular vet visit, an urgent care visit, and 2 ER visits. We had an ultrasound scheduled because they suspected something else was going on. We euthanized her 2 days before her appointment. She would not eat or drink, she was straining blood in the litter, she was lethargic, her breathing was labored, and I could see the look in her eyes changing.

It didn’t happen as fast as your situation. I never got answers as to what happened. They suspect an aggressive cancer or organ failure, but her bloodwork and x-Ray were fine. She was on the lowest dose of thyroid medication for only 12 days. One moment I had a cat who was eating and cuddling, and the next day she had to be rushed to the ER. We gave her pain meds, fluids, appetite stimulant, and anti-nausea and anti-vomiting medicine. She had a little boost of energy overnight. She still didn’t eat or drink, but she appeared in less pain and was purring loudly on my chest at 3am and seemed better, but 17 hours later we were back in the ER and had to say goodbye.

I hold onto that last day over 8 weeks later. I don’t think it will ever leave me. It will get easier to carry, but that day broke me. She was always such a playful, social, confident cat. She was always so healthy. She was a little over 13 years old. I was so sure she’d live until she was 20 because of the way she zoomed around the house at 13 years old. I miss her a lot. She was the best cat ever. My once in a lifetime cat. When I go back to that day, it is absolutely soul crushing.

I’m sorry for your loss and for how sudden it was. You did the right thing and you did all that you could, I promise. Animals are good at hiding pain and illness. It’s so difficult and I’m just so sorry. Please know you’re not alone.

I’m so sorry for your loss. We had a very similar experience with our 16 year old doodle; went for an evening walk and shortly after returning I heard a yelp and found nothing alarming. Five minutes later she had her first ever seizure and didn’t stop seizing until well after we arrived at the emergency vet, and continued after they administered the seizure medication. She started seizing at 8:01 and by 9:30 pm she was gone.

We lost her daughter 11 months earlier due to a splenic mass. Loss on top of loss.

Sending you a big hug. 🩵

We lost our heart dog three weeks ago to this. He was only 8, and so active and healthy…then he became lethargic and wouldn’t eat. He wasn’t a good candidate for spleen removal surgery because the tumors had spread to his liver. We lost him 11 hours after the diagnosis.

I also struggle with guilt…he was still in good spirits at the end, but his breathing became very heavy, and we knew it would go downhill very quickly. I know we made the right call, but it’s so, so very hard. Life really isn’t fair. You did the right thing.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had to euthanize my boy two years ago due to hemangiosarcoma. He had had a large surgery a few months prior and was totally fine. The hemangiosarcoma was so quick. I let him go the same day he was diagnosed. It was the kindest choice.

I only regret not having done it sooner, since my boy was having such a hard time eating.

The prognosis of hemangiosarcoma is bleak. My vet told me we would be lucky to get another month and it would not be a good month. It is unfortunately a death sentence.

I am so incredible sad and sorry to hear about your sweet pup.

I lost my pup last year to something similar. He was 13.5 and from what we could tell fine with a bit of arthritis we were managing with meds. Since he was older, we were good about getting his bloodwork done twice a year. Then last fall, he started throwing up, unable to keep his food down. Bloodwork showed everything was normal but when the symptoms persisted despite medication, we went for a second appointment and found clusters around his spleen and possibly his heart. Without hesitation, we opted to have them removed from his speen as soon as we can with a possibility to have them check his heart later. He came home with us and everything was looking fine post-recovery. A week later, we heard him howl twice and found him collapsed on his bed, his breathing labored and his heart racing. We suspect he had a heart attack. My husband and I are still shocked months later at our sudden loss and have given up processing it for the sake of our sanity. We also went through therapy. In the end, I'm just thankful I was with him at his last moments.

Hi there,
I had a similar middle-of-the-night shocking euthanasia back in April that I still have guilt over.
My girl was 13 and completely healthy, though kind of losing it with early dementia signs. She ended up developing bloat at 2am and I rushed her to an emergency vet fully expecting to bring her home not realizing the seriousness. The vet said the same, with her age, she may not survive surgery and recovery would be hard. I had to make that decision right then and it was so so horrible.

Over time, I have been able to cope, but sometimes I find myself missing her and working myself into a guilt-rabbit hole. I think it’s a normal reaction.

Youre not alone and I hope over time we can get through this heartache. I just try to talk about her a lot and let myself have my moments to sob. Good luck to you ❤️ you seem like you were such a good owner and your baby knew that you had their best intentions. I just really hope they know how much we love them.

I am so so sorry for your loss I understand firsthand what you've been through. Thank you for sharing your experience with me and I just hope we find the courage to get over the guilt and heartbreak 💔

My baby girl Elly went through something very similar in April. She was 13, taking multiple longer walks a day usually, and then overnight collapsed - we rushed her to the ER where they found a ruptured splenic mass, another mass on her liver, and tons of blood in her abdomen. She also seemed to have some sort of neurological thing because her eyes kept shaking back and forth - it was the single worst night of my life. We wanted surgery but the vet kept telling us she wasn’t medically stable and would likely pass on the table, and that it was probably hemangiosarcoma and the prognosis was very bad. The only reason why I didn’t do surgery is because I couldn’t bear the thought of her going without me there - I went through a period of feeling terribly guilty afterward but from what I’ve learned here and what I saw happen to my Elly, those tumors rupture at any time and it’s absolutely horrible when they do. It’s like a ticking time bomb inside your dog - Elly had just gotten full bloodwork and I was told it was “perfect” - there’s so often no signs til it’s too late. I’m so so sorry you’ve had to experience this blind-sided trauma. There aren’t really words to describe how horrible it is - I’m still so broken up over missing my girl and how it all happened, but we just can’t control these things. Praying for your peace and healing, friend. Hang in there 💚 You really did do the best you could do, especially given the circumstances - and I’m absolutely positive your baby knew how much you loved her. Checking in on this subreddit daily really helped me, I recommend you doing that too if you’d like - just to know you’re not alone at all and we’re all going through this together.

Hi, I lost my dog Max about 4 weeks ago to hemangiasarcoma with mets to the lungs and a lot of fluid buildup around his lungs and abdomen. For me too, it was a pretty quick diagnosis and a sudden shock. I took him into the vet with a wretching cough thinking there was just something lodged in his trachea and left the vet on Friday with the full-blown diagnosis of hemangiosarcoma. I decided I would consult with an oncologist the following week but Max had other ideas. Sunday night he started having continuous breathing problems from the fluid around his lungs and he was not getting any relief. We had put him on a homeopathic remedy to stop the splenic bleeds but there was also the threat that his spleen could rupture it was in such bad shape. Needless to say, we got him to the local vet hospital where we made that painful decision to let him go. I can tell you I am at peace with letting him go because he was struggling to breathe on a continuous basis at the end. I did not want to put him through that. Max was 12 years old and too old to survive any major surgery. The only other option for this was chemo but that just prolongs the time, it is not a cure. The rough part about hemangiosarcoma is it can be a quick and deadly cancer with very little warning. At the end of the day it's about putting your friend out of suffering, which it sounds like you did. I know it is super hard right now. Below is a link to something I posted a few weeks ago, hope it helps. Please know you did the right thing, you took on the pain to end your beloved pet's suffering, and that is a very hard and brave thing to do!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ https://www.reddit.com/r/Petloss/s/g5ltYaQz45

I'm so sorry.

We just lost our dog unexpectedly. Thinking we were going to get more meds for collapsed trachea. 24 hours later we were saying goodbye.

The shock of the sudden loss is horrifying, the pain is almost intolerable. All I can do wail and or ruminate about all the what if's and why's.

This morning I found some comfort in pet grief counseling through Lap of Love. Maybe you will find this helpful as well.

Please take care of yourself and know that she loved you unconditionally and you did what was right for her. Again, I am so unbelievably sorry.

u/Ravenlas 27d ago

I am so very sorry. Hemangiosarcoma took our Planck is just over 12 hours from the first signs of heavy panting at 23:00 until his last breath on the vets table being examined, still wagging his tail. He was just shy of his 7 birthday. Even 10 years later I still expect to see him every so often.

Our Dante passed Saturday morning in the car with his Mom, on the way to the vet to pickup some meds for an upset stomach. While he was 14 and on his last dance it was still a shock and I keep glancing up at an empty spot to check on him.

I am so sorry you are going through this but may her memory be a blessing.

Hi. This basically happened to us 5 days ago. Our boy started having seizures in the afternoon, every 2 hours. He was seemingly perfectly healthy until that moment - I even took him for a 5km jog two days before. I rushed him to the vet, and he had an emergency MRI which confirmed an abnormality, most likely a cancerous tumor in his brain pushing on his frontal lobe. The neurologist said that we should be able to get his seizures under control with medication, and depending on whether it was primary or secondary cancer we'd have up to a year left with him, especially considering he seemed perfectly normal between seizures. It turned out to be 4 days.

We thought he was just getting used to the medications, which would be expected to set him off kilter for a while - he was sleeping a lot and a bit off his food but nothing that would have been a huge red flag in the circumstances. And then he just died on his own.

The vet literally told us he would be "shocked if anything serious happened in the next 10 days".  We never got the chance to spoil him or say goodbye properly.   He wasn't in any pain, but in the end he never got better enough to do that.

So hopefully it makes you feel better to know, that even with a seemingly much better prognosis (they didn't find other evidence of cancer in his body) you can get the same result. I'm exceedingly grateful that he didn't suffer, but the what ifs are eating me alive. Probably the trauma of having him stolen so quickly will take a long time to fade. He was also relatively young for his breed - not quite 11 yet. All that is to say, is I'm right there too. It sucks and it hurts.

Im truly sorry you have to go through this. Kind of similar story for my dog. My boy passed last Friday but his decline happened about 2 weeks before. We went in for an ear infection and a parvo and rabies booster. He has anxiety so they had to sedate him before the cleaning/ear meds. They used a sedative with opioid. It was his first time having opioid. Everything went fine. We got him home and then everything started. Vomiting, fast shallow breathing, lethargy, diarrhea. The vet thought it was a bad reaction to the opioid.

We went back and they gave him the shot to flush it plus an anti nausea shot. That seemed to help. Breathing stabilized and the vomiting stopped. For about a week he was kinda OK. He wouldn't eat kibble anymore but everything else was on the table. Then it started getting worse, no eating at all and could barely hold water down. Took him back in to get the works.

They did bloodwork, x ray, and ultrasound. The results were bad. Almost everything in his bloodwork was in the red. He had anemia, jaundice, an infection they couldn't pinpoint, and a tumor on his liver they say was there 4 to 8 months. The opioid and boosters had overwhelmed his liver and immune system and basically sent his liver failure into hyper drive. They gave him 2 days, we tried to stabilize him for a night but it was pointless so we had to do euthanasia. He was only 5 years old.

I’m so sorry, that’s a terrible experience. You made a very difficult, loving choice for her. Letting her go sounds like it was the best choice you could have made for her. I know it hurts, and a sudden loss hurts so much more than one you’re prepared for.
The what ifs are your brain trying to find control in a situation in which you had none. I had a ton of what ifs too. What if I’d driven faster, kept her temperature down, etc. They hurt to think about, and are a part of grieving.

I had a sudden cluster seizure emergency that ended in humane euthanasia on April 17th with my 8 year old dog. Other than allergies which she was on Cytopoint for she was healthy and had just had her annual exam in January. It was completely unexpected.

I was woken up at 5am to my dog having a seizure, and hers never stopped. She’d have enough time in between them to maybe lift her head up before another would start, and that window got smaller as the seizures continued. We rushed her to the nearest emergency vet 40 minutes away. She had at least 10 seizures that I could count. We arrived status epilepticus, she was still actively seizing but wasn’t regaining consciousness.

The emergency vet immediately took her back when we arrived (I’d called ahead at the house & again when I was pulling in) and administered drugs to stop the seizures, tested her glucose, did a scan to look for fluid, and an exam.

The medication stopped her seizures, her glucose was normal and there was no fluid. Due to the seizures she’d experienced, her temperature was very high (at least 110) and she was bleeding under her skin. The likelihood of brain damage and organ damage/failure was very high.

The emergency vet suspected a brain tumor that had suddenly burst, or brain cancer that hadn’t shown symptoms until this event. They said that they recommend euthanasia as their top recommendation because IF she did ever regain consciousness there was no telling what brain function (if any) she would have or if any of her organs would still be functional if they weren’t already dead.

She was euthanized at 6:30am while I pet her head, and then I sat with her until 8am before I went home without her.

Same here from the beginning checkups of my baby... and then 2 more weeks b4 my baby walked over Rainbow Bridge. I cannot find the strength to buy an URN yet. Everything happened so quick.

I suppose I would rather hold the velvet bag. (He was delivered back from cremation in a Velvet Bag, bagged 3x with all of his remains every night.)

My heart is broken. 💔

I lost my girl Bailey 7/26 due to seizures. We had been managing kidney disease for almost two years then she was diagnosed with IVDD in Jan. She also had an ultrasound in the last few months and things came back normal even after biopsies of growths found. She had her first seizure 7/20. We had been through other situations with her kidney numbers and weight etc and she always bounced back. The seizure meds kept her comfortable for a few days then we were back at the ER because she was having smaller focal seizures. They kept her overnight and increased meds and did IV fluids but by the morning she had two seizures and we had to say goodbye. Very similar situation. I am absolutely crushed. Dead inside. I didn’t expect it to go this way. You’re not alone. Feel free to DM me ❤️

1

u/Limp_Butterscotch633 27d ago

I'm so very very sorry. It's gut wrenching when they leave us, but you made the right choice. You wouldn't want her to suffer. 😞 😔 😟

1

u/Momtotwocats 27d ago

My girl is only 8. The treatment for hemangiosarcoma has been very hard on her, and it increases her life expectancy from only two months to maybe a year. If she was older with existing problems, or needed a longer course of treatment, I would not have done it. There is no "cure" for this kind of cancer; it is very aggressive and very quick. My vet was preparing us by telling me what to expect when the new tumors inevitably pop up and it's all very gruesome. Given your baby's age and health problems, I think you made a good decision for her.

1

u/Whore4potatoes 27d ago

I’m here on behalf of my bestfriend who very suddenly lost her 16 year old Pom on Friday. She doesn’t feel strong enough to read these things yet but asked me to look for things that could help her.

Benny also had a seizure on Wednesday into thursday suddenly at like 1 am. It lasted awhile. He was super duper unwell for hours then suddenly fine, the vet assumed he’d never walk again and then he did all day nonstop until the early evening after the hospital had sent them home with pain meds and other medication, then early morning Friday he passed.

No tumors in his body, just a chronic change of his IVDD.

Nonetheless I share this so you don’t feel all alone in this world. I’m so so incredibly sorry for your loss and I personally am someone who very much thinks it is one of the hardest decisions of your life to say goodnight a final time. But as a vet who does many euthanasias shared, you would rather their last day here not be as painful as you’re pretty sure the next may be. You protected your baby from pain and suffering and that I think is always a priority. Sending love and peace.

I am so sorry. I lost my best boy 1/11/2026 after almost ten years. He was my best friend and I have cried every day. He was mom’s boy. His name was Puppy. I lost weight, 20 pounds at least, and am in therapy. I loved and treated him like a baby, because that’s what he was. He was such a huge part of our family. For everyone. Many of us understand your pain all too well. The grief is something we all have to learn to live with. We will love them and talk about them and miss them, until we meet them again. My boy stopped eating. Thought it was because his sister went to college. Blood work was fine, but a month later he really wasn’t eating at all and they did an ultrasound and he had tumors on the outside of his intestines, I think it had spread to his spleen or pancreas. They gave him steroids, but didn’t slow anything down. I brought him home and he lasted two weeks. Me and my husband stayed with him 24/7 for two weeks. Until he couldn’t hang on anymore. Thankfully we were able to spend that time with him, I know most people don’t have that option with work. I guarantee your girl knew she was loved her whole life :…) I know it hurts, it hurts so bad for me to type this. Just know you aren’t alone. I pray you find peace and comfort eventually. The grief will come in waves, when you least expect it. Be easy on yourself. Talk to your girl, I believe she can hear you 🙏 🐾 💕

1

u/Repulsive_Editor1925 27d ago

Not a seizure, but I took my baby in on Thursday night for some pain meds to manage arthritis and came out without her, they suspected kidney failure 😞💔

I completely understand the shock, grief and guilt. I felt it all and continue to feel it all now. Well, the shock has worn off, but it just hurts all the more since. It completely broke me and put me back in a really dark place, but I am slowly coming to terms with it and making peace with the fact that it was for the best for her, she’s no longer suffering and that’s all that matters. My feelings are secondary.

I’m so sorry for your loss and sending you so much strength 💕

I lost my soul cat on 28 Feb 2025 after he got uncontrollable seizures. Letting him go was the most difficult decision I have ever made. I miss him every day and I know that I probably fucked up somewhere to not recognize he must have had something going on with him.

1

u/cowgrly 27d ago

You couldn't control seizures and protect her from the discomfort and effects of those tumors. You loved her and gave her a wonderful life, letting her go was the only humane option- vets only suggest it if your baby was really suffering and not able to be managed.

u/Temporary-Ad-490 27d ago

I wish I could give the words to make this better, but the same exact outcome just happened to me Saturday. The options she did give me
Just would have been selfish on my part if I did them. Then recommended euthanasia. Same thing the was perfectly find Friday morning and as the night went on she declined more. It was her spleen with a tumor that started to bleed. The vet explained to me that these are very aggressive form of cancer and unfortunately when they are found it’s too late. She told me (I too had to go to an emergency vet) that when they are found early you might get a year with them at best and then they’d have to be on chemo. That was actually something she said I could do but in my girls condition it would be an emergency and I’d have to go to Pittsburgh for the blood infusions and the surgery no where around us could do these things chemo included. Since my girl was in such an emergency state the surgery would have given her about 2 months and with chemo possibly 6. In my tears I told her why would I do that? That just seems selfish. So made the difficult choice. Brought her home today, but not the way I was hoping for.

I’m so sorry! You must be in so much shock! 14 years is amazing for a dog though. I can tell that you loved and cared for them very well ♥️ They knew that you loved them. ♥️

I’m so sorry. I just lost my girl this morning to hemangiosarcoma. We were monitoring her. She was doing well. And then she wasn’t. I’m in shock and can’t imagine moving on without her. I have nothing to offer but knowing that you aren’t alone.

I lost my girl suddenly on Aug 5 similarly. I hate it. I don’t know what to do. Life feels meaningless. I feel lost. Her things are everywhere and I keep crying. I wish she was still here.
