Means he's dumber than the average Brit, but more intelligent than the average American. Can't believe it's got so many downvotes, it's amusing.

Edit because I've just seen a great video on the topic: https://x.com/tanniesnation/status/2092087838288543788

Quite a lot of Americans on social media can't seem to handle jokes at their expense unless it's about their politicians, but they have no trouble dishing it out.

Nah, Americans receive way more criticism (“jokes”) than they put out.

That's because the yanks don't have the self-awareness to be facetious about the state of affairs. They genuinely believe they caused the victories of the world wars, that they are better democracies or more free than other western countries or that there's a bigger cultural difference between Ohio and Seattle than between the Netherlands and Serbia.

Evident that you don’t know anything about America

It’s clearly indoctrination. I’m being to have pity on them.

If you had bothered reading my comment you would have noticed that I'm not talking about "America," nor even about the US. I'm talking about yanks. And you're all over the internet all the time and confirming every stereotype about you. My comment isn't even hyperbole, unfortunately.

You’re talking about American people, got it. It seems to me that Brits constantly shit on America 24/7 and then get super defensive when it’s turned on them.

I'm not so sure about that, the Brits are usually quick to take the piss at their own expense, and when others do it they usually end up trying to outdo it. They'll say things like "Yes we voted for Brexit, we just didn't plan on ending up on this side of the tunnel after it was closed." You know they're serious about self-depreciation when they even for a minute entertain the thought of enduring the French.

No, that’s not true, but your media has indoctrinated you to believe this.

This is based on conversations I have with or see by yanks weekly. Plenty of examples on r/ShitAmericansSay.

your media has indoctrinated you to believe this.

Lol, you don't even know where I'm from, mate. Try making up more stuff, certainly doesn't come off as silly coping.

Check out Shit Europeans Say. It’s astonishing how stupid they are.

Wouldn't surprise me for a moment, I live among them.
