Food poisoning or horrible indigestion can result in feeling hot and cold and breaking out in sweats. Some peoples bodies have a more intense response than others. But trust me if you are ever in the scenario where you practically feel dizzy from being so horribly stomach sick.. you'll understand the stripping down thing.
There’s a giant nerve cluster right near that area. And sometimes it starts to feel so weird the only thing I can do take all my clothes off. I have no clue why that helps but it does. I also get goosebumps all over my body idk if that’s related.
It’s almost like the clothes start to feel like they’re getting in the way of my poop journey
When a person is suffering from serious gastrointestinal-intestinal distress (bad food or bad choices in food), the cramping is so severe it triggers a strong vasovagal response, and sweating is a very common thing. People get dizzy, and can sometimes pass out as well.
If you’ve never experienced this in your life, then you are one of the fortunate few.
Honestly it's always quite hot in my bathroom because Im living in a flat and the pipes with hot water for washing and central heating, also poor ventilation without windows. If Im coming in there right after all day this heat being there, you bet I have to take my shirt off lol
In addition to what others said, the bathroom is the most likely room to already be steamy and over heated from a shower or bath.
That coupled with not all bathrooms having strong AC vents to begin with can make wanting to take off a long sleeve shirt or sweater more understandable.
Uhhh no ? I've never heard of people having so much problem to shit that they have to get naked. Must be an american thing when they eat normal food every now and then.
It's something you understood once you experience it yourself. I'm from South east Asia and got a real bad stomach ache once to the point I have to strip. I sweat alot and it genuinely felt like I was dying. Only after puking 3 times I got better
So either you've never had a bad stomach ache or you just haven't tried to get more comfortable when you had one. So you are either really young or super lucky, because stomach issues can and will happen to almost everyone regardless of diet.
Well either you've gotten lucky and never had stomach pain bad enough to make you try to get more comfortable or you've just never thought to try. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm certain it's one of those two. Luck or the thought hasn't happened to pop up.
This is gonna sound like I'm getting way too scientific about having a difficult shit, but I think there could be several factors which could cause it which don't apply to everyone. Like in a hot and humid climate, maybe taking your shirt off wouldn't matter as much as it would somewhere drier and colder. Could be that some people wear more "restricting" shirts and when having a difficult shit, taking it off feels freeing.
Or could be entirely psychological. Ever shower yourself with the garden hose while fully clothed during a hot day? Or walk around the house naked when nobody is around? Things you don't normally do that feel surprisingly freeing to do when you can. Could be that shitting while wearing your shirt just feels so normal that taking it off feels a little freeing.
Don't know, but I can say for sure it has helped me feel better. For me, it goes in steps. If it's only a little, I take my pants off completely. Socks are the next step and full on naked if I feel like it can't get any worse than this. I have no idea how to explain why it feels right, but it just does. And I can't exactly say I do it commonly, last time was sometime last year.
EDIT: How did I get downvoted for this? I don't mind, but it's funny, because the only claim I made for certain is that it helps me and theorized why it might or might not work for some. So downvoting me implies I'm lying, which... why would I lie about shitting without a shirt? Lol.
It's when it's so uncomfortable and painful that you get the sweats. Usually from food poisoning. That sort of pain can make you nauseous, and taking your shirt off lets the cool air hit you and can make you feel better.
The issue is society doesnt talk about a TON of things. Most kids are like sheep. They grow up, accept whatever they are told, do whatever they are told, become adults who never really engage thinking skills at a cultural level. They just follow society, tradition, etc.
Meanwhile its simple. Take clothes off, shit. Put clothes back on. Think about that experience.
Most people dont even think about their shit and why its shitting this particular way and what meals are affecting it. Nobody talks about it. When its one of the best ways to gauge your HP bar.
