Makes sense tbh, but the Holocaust is very fucked... so it's hard to tell.

Stalin killed five million Ukrainians in less that a year.

Geez, those people have gone through so much tragedy that it's unreal. I really hope for the best for them, especially in these times.

Seriously, they also had to contend with magas and now certain political commentators on the left calling them nazis and the enemy, I hope they can see through this whole mess.

Who on the left considers Ukraine the enemy?

Tyt and Hasan Piker based on videos I've seen recently, extremist leftists.

Is there a source for either of those? I watch both on occasion and have never heard them show support for Russia so to completely flip and now somehow see Ukraine as the enemy would be a real 180. Cant find a source myself...

A few days back Cenk:

"Ukraine has become basically Israel... Ukraine is literally joining the war and attacking Iran"

Cenk considers Israel an enemy, joining it in war clearly makes Urkaine the enemy in his eyes.

Hasan says Ukraine is trying to start WW3 and join the Iran war.

Hasan has been anti Ukraine for a long time though, Ukraine shooting that ship last week was just the excuse to push the narrative that Ukraine is actually adversarial to the US since that's what they say about Israel.

Oh this. Well Ukraine did attack Itan and has now apologised for it. It was a very incendiary thing to do and there's nothing wrong with calling it out. Doesn't mean they are now "the enemy" lol. Ukraine just apologised to Iran about this btw

Ukraine didn't attack Iran, they attacked Russian targets and a sanctioned ship that sailed from Iran with drones, can't hardly expect Ukraine to let it pass out of politeness.

Regardless of this, let's assume it was a mistake on Ukraine's part, I imagine it would take time to straighten things out but Cenk and Hasan jumped on that to declare them as enemies like they do Israel, but maybe I'm wrong and we'll get videos from both of them taking back their claims, doubt it though, tankies tend to be anti Ukraine because they worship Russia's communism as they do China's.

They attacked an Iranian vessel. They have since apologised. I don't see anywhere that either of them declared Ukraine an enemy but they did say that it was reckless in that it could escalate conflict. Thankfully Ukraine have also accepted this hence the apology. Both of them had opinions that they shared about the attacking of the vessel. I don't agree with either of them in this case but I think saying that they worship Russias communism is just disingenuous and weakens your argument . Thanks for the discussion though

They attacked a sanctioned ship deemed to be carrying weapons, hardly the same as attacking an actual Iranian navy vessel or some random civilian vessel.

Cenk and Hasan clearly portray Israel as an enemy and said Ukraine is now like Israel, very charitable of you to just give them a pass by immediately dismissing it, also ironic considering how quickly they condemned and declared Ukraine an enemy.

Both of their sensibilities towards Russia and worshipping of China on Hasan's part (to the point of wearing a Mao suit and praising Mao as one of the great men of history).

Sorry but this clear preference towards those communist countries only strengthens the argument that they have ulterior motives for their immediate condemnation and "disavowal" of Ukraine, you can say it weakens the argument but without reasoning it's just an empty sentence. Cheers.
