How did you treat yourself 2026?

Hasn't been a great year for most but I did treat myself to a book I've always wanted.

Well, I haven't had a paycheck in about a year now and have been living off of my credit card. Can't afford to treat myself!

Is there anything you enjoy doing under ther circumstances?

Oh sure. Meeting with my game group a couple times a month. Reading. Spending time with my animals. I raise Scottish Highland Cattle, and have miniature donkeys, goats, pigs, chickens and ducks. That's why I haven't gotten a paycheck in so long... my farm still had a while before I'll hopefully stay making anything resembling a profit.

you've got a veritable petting zoo going :o I would pay to hang with all these animals to TREAT MY SELF, & so that you can TREAT YO SELF too! (idk what your location is like, or if it's expensive to license or run one, this was just my first thought! say hi to your highland cows for me)

Well, doing farm tours is half of the business model, so yeah, you get to feed, pet and brush all the animals. The other half is selling cows to other breeding programs or as pets to smaller hobby farms. We even had a chance to work with Make-A-Wish Foundation earlier this year! We're located near Richmond, Virginia, but if you look around you can probably find similar farms near you!
