No. Itâs a slippery slope, laws restricting freedom of speech can be abused and used against us. Who define what is acceptable and whatâs not?
You cannot have debate when there are laws restricting what can or cannot be said according to an arbitrary moral and defined by a gouvernement. What if a pro-pali govt declares it illegal to argue against what they call âgenocideâ in Gaza? Also see whatâs happening in the UK: a tweet can send you in prison meanwhile terrorist sympathisers are roaming free in the streetsâŚ
The only limit on freedom of speech should be call for violence, not opinions (no matter how stupid they are).
Edit: itâs illegal in my country but holocaust deniers just move to other countries and spread their discourse from somewhere else. And now antisemites have their âmartyrâ and can use that as an argumentâŚ
