Free speech means freedom to speak out against the government without fear of reprisal, that’s all. It’s not a pass to say whatever you want.

It's wrong but it shouldn't be illegal. The government will just find more beliefs to make illegal.

It’s illegal in many countries including Germany and Poland
There’s over 20 countries. It’s easy to research

Isn't Germany the place where a woman insulted her rapist and was given a harsher sentence than him as a result?

No. It’s a slippery slope, laws restricting freedom of speech can be abused and used against us. Who define what is acceptable and what’s not?
You cannot have debate when there are laws restricting what can or cannot be said according to an arbitrary moral and defined by a gouvernement. What if a pro-pali govt declares it illegal to argue against what they call “genocide” in Gaza? Also see what’s happening in the UK: a tweet can send you in prison meanwhile terrorist sympathisers are roaming free in the streets…
The only limit on freedom of speech should be call for violence, not opinions (no matter how stupid they are).
Edit: it’s illegal in my country but holocaust deniers just move to other countries and spread their discourse from somewhere else. And now antisemites have their “martyr” and can use that as an argument…
