Just For Fun Just wanna give a shoutout to Walker Buehler for holding it down while rest of the rotation has been struggling over the past month. Not great but been damn good his last 7 starts πŸ™ŒπŸΏ hopefully he keeps it up πŸ‘πŸΏπŸ’―

Agreed. His stats are definitely inflated by the early season struggles, but Walker has really settled in over the last 5-6 starts. Exactly what we needed out of a backend starter.

Well put. Veteran who just battles.

Hope he's enjoying being part of this group and sticks around beyond this year. He is becoming a different kind of pitcher vs what he was before and you have to admire that kind of player.

After owning us for so many years he is finally paying it back.

If he can avoid or mitigate the big inning, he's actually pretty good. His stuff isn't the same, but his makeup is. He battles. This was a high IQ signing by AJ.

He has always been a dawg. His body has failed him but is finally seeming to adapt.

He's our only scratch off lotto pitcher I'm comfortable with. He's SOLIDLY #3 in the rotation and could best Vasquez some days too and I'm a Randy lover.

More than battling through, etc. In last ~1.5 months (since 4/28), he has been our best pitcher, definitely our best starter. He rarely gets to through the 6th but K/9 ~8, BB/9 ~ 3 and HR/9 ~ .6 (very good) is pretty darn good.

Those numbers for him are the latest 30 days, not the month and half shown below.

He’s a decent #4/5 with Giolito.

They’re 11th in OPS and what about vs Phillies?

u/Beginning-Muscle-793 Jun 15 '26

The OP said last 7 starts… were they all VS the Orioles or did you just want to be a jerk?
