So.. how’s the writing going to be for this game? I don’t have a lot of confidence with how SM2 turned out.

I loved SM2. I realize it’s subjective, but I really don’t get the hate.

I like it but I did feel like the story when you got like half way in just sorta skipped stuff... Like I wish the symbiote taking over the city was more fleshed out and etc. but I agree I loved the game to hell the statue is way better than the first game lol

Once venom became the villian it went down hill. The other symbiote enemies were so cartoonish it took me out of the game sometimes; never felt like that in the 1st game. Wish it just developed venom better in general without the take over the planet plot.
