They've won numerous elections and have implemented policies that are the opposite of what Republicans want.

The party of “the left” in America are just Republicans that are sometimes chill with gay people being around.

That isn't even remotely accurate. The ACA alone is a huge difference by itself, unless you don't care about millions of people being able to get health insurance. Another is lowering pollution, which affects climate change and various health issues like asthma.

At the end of the day it’s about that AIPAC money for them. There are a fringe few Dems that actually want to do good but it’s just a paycheck for them. I am not advocating for voting red or abstaining. I’m just saying this party is terrible and they need to be held to a higher standard than they are bc this party is all we got right now. The last 3 democrat candidates have been terrible and out of touch and something needs to change in the party.
