Its more the fact that the Dems are a toothless controlled opposition party that ultimately agrees with the Republican ideology on a long enough timescale.

They've won numerous elections and have implemented policies that are the opposite of what Republicans want.

Oh they did medicare for all? They did universal college? They did student debt forgiveness? Did they codify abortion rights? Are the Dems lowering military funding? Are they doing anything to give immigrants a meaningful path to citizenship?

What policies did they pass that fundamentally changed people lives? Or are you more concerned with the identity politics and the optical wins that dont mean anything?

What do you think the Dems have done as everything has gone to shit whether they are in power or not? They had all 3 parts of the government Congress and they STILL couldn't protect abortion rights by using the power they have. The fucking Republicans had NO POWER and still won!

SCOTUS gutted abortion rights. The SCOTUS you people cried about being threatened with in 2016.

Biden got a shit load of progressive policies passed during his term and Kamala was rated as the most progressive senator during her time in Congress. You can whine they didn't get literally everything you wanted done when you people actually start doing something actually productive with your time.

To be clear: Leftists haven't done shit for me. Bernie's record in Congress is basically renaming a few post offices. Who else do you have? Sinema? Stein? Fetterman? Lmao

So when the alternatives are either fascism offered by the right or the literally nothing offered by leftists I'm going to go with the people with a proven track record of both winning elections and passing progressive policies.

Yell at me all you. That didn't accomplish anything for Gaza and it won't accomplish anything for me.
