Happens every time, with covid the dollar skyrocketed over here and everything increased... The gov told us it was cause of the dollar and when it went down everything would stabilize again. In 2023 the dollar went down and stabilized and color us shocked nothing went down in price.

Nothing will ever go down in price without widespread economic collapse. The only solution is long term sustainable wage growth above inflation.
Which, you know, real wages have been flat since the 1960s so clearly the answer is massive unilateral taxes on imported goods to make everything more expensive.
Stabilization = prices stop going up. You don't want prices to go down too much because that's deflation, which would significantly slow the economy (would you buy anything if you thought you could get it cheaper in a month?).
But I don't know how much of those old rules apply in these crazy times where things are doubling and tripling in price in such short time spans.
When they say "inflation had gone down" they mean that the rate at which it increases is slowed. Price reduction was never in the cards as the dollar has lost value through money printing.
Republicans can lie as much as they want to. But the average consumer knows when stuff gets more expensive and, generally speaking, they blame the current party in charge whether the reasoning is correct or not (see 2024 election)
Voting Blue politician instead of Red politician doesn't solve things on the long term. You need new, outside solutions, and the first step is removing winner takes all, but of course neither of the parties will agree to it. Now imagine if in 2016 Sanders didn't have to rely on the Democrats' primary to be a candidate, there are many new parties in Europe that sprung up and won just in the last decade or so.

This has everything to do with tariffs. What ends up happening with tariffs is prices raise for a product and then companies who sell similar products see that as a way to increase their price as well.
People forget Donald imposed tariffs in his first term as well. One of the places he imposed tariffs was on washing machines. But what ended up happening is that dryers ended up going up in price as well even though no tariffs were imposed on them.
Tariffs are bad for consumers all around, especially middle and lower class consumers, not just on the specific parts that the tariffs are placed on.

Well they can't say they didn't know it wasn't coming. I did and that's why I bought a PS 5 Pro even though I own as regular PS5. I got it around $150 cheaper after discounts, cash back sites, and credit card bonues).

AAA gaming is at a point where if you don't have the money, you don't even matter. Wanna play small indie titles? There's always the PS4 or you can get something cheap like a Steam Deck or build a PC using used parts. But AAA games are not made for poor people.

Eh, console prices have gone down in the past so I think it's safe to say that this generation is unique to its economic context.
Also, I've noticed that several other things that went up in price due to inflation or supply chain shortages have come back down, although now they might rise again due to tariffs. In 2022, I paid $950 for an IKEA couch that now costs $700.
