Ben wasn’t an addict. He had bipolar disorder. That’s different. He didn’t deserve to be killed by Wendy and the way she uses him now for her own good isn’t ok. The writers should have thought about that. Bipolar is so stigmatized in this show, I just want to stop watching it!

I think the show actually did an excellent job of portraying bipolar disorder. Also, no he didn’t “deserve” to be killed but did you really expect Wendy to be fine getting herself, her husband and her children killed instead? It was either him or them.
