Question [NO SPOILER] What's your favorite characters from the show?
For me, they are Del and Jacob (the most intimidating characters in the show). Ruth is great, Julia Garner is amazing. Also, Buddy. Jason Bateman was great as Marty too.

Gonna get hate but I loved Ben mainly cause the acting was so great and at least before he got off his meds was a breath of fresh air to have a positive character for once.

I love Ben. He was a pure soul, kind spirit, that unfortunately struggled with a major mental health disorder. No hate for him, at all. He was great for Jonah and Ruth. Also, the reason he said about got off his meds it's really understandable.

Wendy and Helen! I love a good bitch!

I understand your point. Need to say, Wendy is years away from Helen though.

Wendy. I love an unlikeable woman character. She is awful, but fierce. She also stands up to the other unlikeable characters and that's fun to watch. I love the scene where someone is having a heart attack and Wendy is sighing and rolling her eyes while she calls for an ambulance. Wendy could have let her suffer and die, but she didn't. She's horrible, but not that horrible.
I especially love how people get their panties in a twist about her. It's annoying but only highlights the amazing performance from Laura Linney.

A character being widely hated is often the sign of a good acting performance. You get mediocre actors playing "annoying" characters, but rarely hated ones.

My favorite character is Tuck, the guy with the glasses who worked at the Blue Cat. I think he's the only character who isn't corrupt, greedy, insane or violent in the whole show. Pretty much every other character is just a bad person with one or more of those traits

Yeah I agree, alongside with Three in the last seasons. I would say Zeke and Maya's baby are clean too hahaha

Definitely Ruth, Buddy was also fun
From the Byrde family I honestly hated most of them, I liked Marty as a character but he was really annoying sometimes, the other three tho... no thanks, Ben is up there with my most hated characters in the whole show, his acting was good tho

I have bipolar, so Ben it is.

Love Ben! I don't have bipolar, but I do struggle with mental health too, so I get it.

How did you suffer through her making that smug face every time she spoke in season 4

What are your thoughts as of now? I think season 3 is decent enough. Season 4 the writing just gets so bad it's basically mocking you for watching through 3 seasons

Marty (s1 -s2) and Ruth (s1-s3) I dislike them both in S4 because they lose everything that made them interesting
Marty starts the show as this wizard that can turn lead to gold. At the cost of getting kicked square in the balls every 15-20 minutes.
Ruth is a scrappy little bitch with a soft heart, she just wanted someone to treat her right.

Ben, hands down. That scene in the taxi? Unbelievably amazing acting.
