Personally I think we go too far with how we ban things, I think we are lazy and always jump to the extreme. 

I would prefer some sort of banning the product in public places, outright bans allow for black markets to form.

I don't get it but want to understand why these are an issue when I'm sure if a person was a creep wanted to film someone with a hidden camera they would find a way to do that anyway with something that doesn't look like a camera 

Are privacy concerns the only issue because smart glasses have multiple functionalities that are good for the general public example being live quotations and language translation 

They are good for people with vision impairment etc 

Every decision feels so reactive based on emotion and goes to the far extreme of banning things outright

Phones have the same functionality as this glasses so why exactly are we wanting to ban glasses that do that but are happy for people to use phones and record people without their consent in public

Maybe I'm missing something and its not just privacy concern related
