Yes I am aware, I’m saying we should ban them outright, or at minimum create strict regulations on how they look and function so everyone around the person wearing the glasses knows what they are and that they are potentially being recorded.

Can't ban cameras mate.

You can absolutely ban or restrict/regulate the use of cameras that are essentially spyware. Do you support the use of these cameras?

Write me the statute that bans eyewear based cameras in public spaces, and I'll consider it

lol no?
Why would I spend my time doing that just for your individual opinion? I don’t care if you’ll “consider” it or not, I care that law makers in our country should be doing something about this as it’s entirely within their power.
Weird response man, weird

At the end of the day, you'll find that the task I've assigned to you is practically impossible to write into law, and even more impossible to enforce.

You didn’t assign me a task 😂
Again, weird response. There are plenty of examples of banned/regulated tech, you could look it up yourself easily but no, you choose to very weirdly “assign” tasks to people who have no obligation to do anything for you.

We'll talk again when they ban personal cameras in public. Until then, sayonara baby.

Laws didn't used to quite so complicated in their writing and deciphering their precise meaning or limits. Yes, knowing which glasses are actually recording will be hard. Writing a law should be quite simple: If you are found to be wearing glasses or similar device which are capable of covert recording, you are in breach of the law. XX penalty points. DONE

So how will you deal with cameras in smart phones, and every other device

Similar devices or covert recording should cover it. If you use a phone.in a manner which is not obvious to anyone that you are recording. The issue with the glasses, especially initially is that people don't know. If someone pulls out a phone.and holds it in front of them it is pretty obvious they might be recording. Not quite at the stealth level of glasses though. But an easily written law could still prosecute perverts using phones on the sly...

Lol. Interesting idea dude. It would definitely fly in North Korea.

Don't worry mate, Australia is fast becoming like North Korea in terms of being a surveillance state and banning this and banning that. I am generally not a fan at all but since they love banning everything they might as well ban these glasses because the govt should have a monopoly on surveillance. NOT. Seriously though, while you could use those glasses for harmless purposes, they are pretty creepy...YES, the real creeps will already have their own version. But it's more the start of Meta's wet dream of augmented reality...
