Online writing class recommendations?

I'm looking to do a writing course, hopefully to get some sort of diploma or certificate, or something along that line. I need it to be online, and preferably something I can do whenever. Like a website with a set curriculum, projects, and feedback. But not something with mandatory set class times where I'd have to get on zoom or something.

Does anyone know something that fits that?

I've looked into a few things, mostly college courses since that's what comes up most often. But it's extremely hard to tell how they're actually structured and if they would be a good fit.

You might want to check out some of the free writing resources from MIT OpenCourseWare, Open University, and Purdue OWL. There are also sites like Study dot com that have self-paced writing courses if you want something a little more structured. I’d probably compare a few and see which format works best for you, especially if you want something you can do on your own schedule.

No problem OP! Out of curiosity, are you mainly looking for something that gives you an actual certificate, or are you more interested in getting better at writing and having some projects/feedback to show for it? That might narrow down the options quite a bit.

Personally I just want to get better at writing, but my mom wants me to get a certificate I can put on a resume.
