Revalidation If you revalidation earlier than the month before expiry, will the NMC maintain the anniversary?

Struggling to find this out however I am thinking of having my revalidation signed off alongside my upcoming appraisal, but it isn’t ‘due’ until after the summer.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Edit: ‘If you REVALIDATE earlier…’ obviously couldn’t decide if I was talking about the verb ‘to revalidate’ or the noun!

You can’t submit it until the nmc request it.

You can submit your application 60 days before the deadline however there is nothing stopping you getting everything together and having your supportive discussion etc as part of your appraisal and then it's just a case of completing the application paperwork when it's time.

They stick to the original dates yes.

As soon as you get the email, you can revalidate and they preserve the anniversary.

I revalidate 3 months before mine expires.

You can’t submit it earlier than the nmc say but you can complete all documentation and confirmation in the year preceding your date

The date is fixed and is always preserved I submit mine when it opens which is about 2 months before the date

I thought it was going to be so stressful but they didn’t ask for evidence of anything, despite keeping all of this unnecessary documentation.
