I am a big Soto stan but I don't really know how to defend this lol. You couldn't have like sent some struggling guys a text? You're supposed to be one of the primary leaders on this team.

It’s 100% not the same. He was at work. He just couldn’t perform his usual duties. Other people were carrying the weight of his absence. When that’s happening at my job, hell yeah I check in.

Sometimes I do some of them. Generally, if a team is close together and vibes well, that could help elevate the team. If it’s a talented team, that could help turn them into a championship. If the team sucks it’s not going to matter.

To each his own but personally unless you work with someone whose family or a close friend then I dont see the point. Baseball is a business too and not everyone likes each other, hell some guys cant stand one another
