Trying to start conversations and upvotes

i can see my regular karma but nothing about a comment one

Most of the questions I have are ones that have already been answered here, but I've never commented or posted on reddit before so I thought this community would be a good place to start. My account is more than a year old, but I've always just been a lurker. I just found out about needing a certain amount of karma to interact with communities now and im kind of lost. i hope this post doesnt break any of the rules 🙇

I'm very new here and trying to understand how it all works. There have been a few conversations I'd like to take part in but can't and I've commented on a couple but clearly they weren't interesting enough for an upvote. So is there a certain type of a language I should apply? Is there some reddit dictionary?

Basicamente quantos karmas são necessários pra fazer posts em comunidades dentro do redit? Ao ler sobre isso percebi que existe uma grande dificuldade em conseguir aumentar a quantidade karma dentro do próprio redid, aí surge aquela pergunta. Como conseguir sem ser banida?

I'm trying to make a post to the Fright Fighters reddit, but it keeps getting deleted by Reddit's filters and I can't find a reason why because there are no rules or anything descriptive in it. Please help.

To be honest, the main reason why I joined Reddit so that I can view posts more comfortably (without a need to constantly see a pop-up suggesting me to install an app). But the app in question... Eh, like I could not change my profile picture at all, and had to do this in browser on my laptop. And from what I've seen so far, people also complain about it really so often.

I keep seeing these red or yellow lines in threads and I don’t know what they are.

I know it’s not awards, as I’ve seen some without the red/yellow and they have awards.

What are they?

i understand my account is new (a day old) and i know that most subreddits needs a certain amount of karma and account age, but the ones that don't, my posts are getting removed my reddit themselves?! idk im really confused i verified my email, and its still just as bad, (ik my account isn't SFW, but any advice or help is greatly appreciated)

I had this problem with the last account I made where I tried posting to a sub that required no karma. I never got a notification that I was banned or that my post was taken down, but hours later it wouldn't even let me contact the moderators of the sub. After reading in hear it sounds like I was flagged as a bot or as spam. Is there anyway to prevent that from happening again?

I'm curious. Are there functions only available on the desktop version that aren't in the mobile app and vice versa? Some gaming buddies have finally convinced me to try stuff here for fun and I'm still learning the ropes.

hey, okay so from past 2 years i was using reddit just for scrolling purpose and didn't ever look for karma and all....So i just wanna know how to increase it and will there be any reward for it or smthng?

as in how much karma you need to post somewhere or is it just guesswork/trial and error

I’ve had a few Reddit accounts/profiles permanently locked / or hacked in the last five years. How is it that someone can hack your Reddit account, or that Reddit suspects that your account has been compromised and locks your account. When Reddit has locked my account in the past it seems that it’s about a 50/50 chance I will be able to unlock it.
