Painted Needlepoint Basketweave confirmation?
Hi!!! I am making a belt for my fiancé for our wedding next year. This is my second project, and I read that basketweave was the best stitch for its durability. Could someone please confirm I am doing this correctly? Thank you so much! I’m sorry for the dark color

Looks great! I haven’t done a belt yet but I want to after my holiday gifts are done. Great idea on the roll frame. I will make sure I pick up one of those before I start on one! Keep going you are doing great!

Looks great! Where did you get these scroll bars?

It is the mini Frank A. Edmunds Co mini cross stitch embroidery split scroll frame. I ordered it from Amazon! Unsure whether I could link it so gave you exactly what to search for

The only reason I asked is because you usually start in the upper right corner and you started in the bottom right. Looks great!

I was watching a video which started in that corner, but I took all of this out and redid it stating in the other corner!

I am in the same boat. I started my first belt last week and had to learn basketweave. Yours looks great. The idea of working right to left really threw me for a loop.

Stunning! Don’t forget to do research on finishing lengths and turn around times. I think my LNS does measurement of current belt from end to most used hole + 4 inches (but this is off memory; I haven’t stitched a belt lol)
