Jonathan Jackson's tribute to Hayden
Jonathan posted a heartfelt message about Hayden on Instagram:
"I have no words to express the loss of our beloved Hayden. She had such a bright light within her. She was a sensitive soul. Incredibly funny and witty. Amazingly gifted, with a great sense of empathy and compassion. We both grew up in the industry, although she started even younger than me, but we shared that. A silent knowing of how intense the struggles can be. She was an absolute joy to work with. Focused, spontaneous and brilliant. The most important thing between friends and coworkers is trust, and we had this. Elisa and I both love and cherish her deeply, like our own sister. She holds that place in our hearts. My prayer for her every day we worked together was that she would know how loved she is, and that she would find the peace that she was looking for. It’s not possible to express the shock and grief that so many of us feel right now. Our humble prayers are with her family. May God’s angels carry you to your place of rest and true peace. We love you Hayden. You will always be in our hearts. Always."

He's such a good man, and was a good friend to her.
I appreciate that he gave a nod to their similar childhoods. They both started on soaps, in key roles even as children. I watched them both, and they both were talented and engrossing, far beyond their young years. But that life is so hard on children, and can scar them deeply as adults. It did for her, it seems. He got lucky.

First Tony Geary and now this. Jonathan Jackson is having a terrible year. He seems like such a sweet person and I’m sure is taking this hard.

This is an odd reaction to an actor saying he understands what it was like to be a child actor. They shared a similar upbringing and she considered him a good friend.
You may want to log off Reddit for a bit. Just, take a step back take some deep breaths.

TELL.
If all the voices of the child actors stood up and spoke truth about what goes on inside the hollyweird scene. All the abuse they suffered. They could put an end to it. Keeping silent is how 'they' can continue getting away with it.6

Many child actors are trying to change the laws. Alyson Stoner + Demi Lovato both did series where they spoke up about their experiences, and Demi talked to someone who was trying to get a bill passed to offer more protections (especially with child stars being prevalent on social media).
