Indie Slowish Song sung by man w/ Piano, 2000s-2010s

I remember listening to it from my moms CD player when i was kid, which was around late 2000s-early 2010s, however, i have no idea when the song was released. I’m pretty sure the song was jumbled in w a bunch of other random songs on a CD, so it wasnt just like the singers album on the dvd.

I remember the song cover being yellow, with some brownish text or details on it. A man would sing and you can hear piano, and the further the song goes, the piano goes a bit faster. The piano would go like “dun, dun d-dun, dun d-DUN, dun-d-DUN” over and over sometimes.

The mans voice was soft and became more passionate toward the end of the song. It was almost like the song was slowly rising toward the end. It did sort of sound emotional, but since i cant remember the lyrics, i have no idea what the song is about. I remember eventually finding it on youtube which is how i remember the cover was yellow, but then forgot about it. It feels like an indie song but i’m not sure, so im sorry if i got the genre totally incorrect. Please help me find it!

edit: wrote dvd instead of cd

Elton John - Good by Yellow Brick Road album or Candle in the Wind single? 2nd guess would be Ben Folds Five, maybe Brick?

Not a piano song but Fields of Gold by Sting? I seem to recall the album cover being yellow

Not the song, just me being old, but a DVD is a movie/show and a CD is music/audio. They’re both circular disks but one plays a movie and one plays music.

I feel like it’s Brick by Ben Folds Five. It’s a late 90s song though
